The cabanas have a great view of San Ignacio and the staff are all very helpful and friendly. The ATM tour was amazing and Basilio made the adventure special. We also booked Barton Creek and the zipline with cave tubing and they were great as we were not lumped into a large

This place is very close to the maya ruins and has anice pool setup. The resort common area is nice and the menu was not too long but the optioons we tried were very good. I would recommend to visit and the cabana are very relaxing at night or early mornings.

Cahal Pech Village Resort is a great spot to stay during your visit to San Ignacio. We stayed in a cabana and loved the accommodation and the views. The dining terrace has some of San Ignacio best views. Breakfast is outstanding. If there is not a buffet, I highly recommend

All employees were kind-hearted. Remembered our name from day one. The rooms were pretty clean, with my only complaints being the low water pressure and the limited internet. The food was pretty good and the tours were great. Overall it was very relaxing with a lot of

Is there a designated smoking area? Can you smoke outside of the Cabanas?
No smoking is allowed in the rooms but you can certainly smoke within our gardens.

there a so many things to do in the area... there are the ruins of Cahal Pech (walking distance), Caracol, Xunantunich, and Tikal in Guatemala. There is also the ATM cave, which is well worth the trip. Add to that river tubing, cave tubing, the Belize zoo, horse back riding, botanic gardens and a butterfly farm, all very close to Cahal Pech resort. A week will not be long enough to do everything there is to do close by. And in two different stays, I never had problems with mosquito in the rooms. Ants sometimes make an appearance (welcome to the tropics) so don't leave open food around, and geckos are frequent visitors, but no mosquito.
