My wife and I stayed at duPlooy's and had a great time. The best part of the stay was the staff. They were incredibly friendly and fun. Everything was easy. We took a few different tours arranged by the hotel. Some where with external guides and other with their staff. All of the tours were top notch with very well... More

We stayed at duPlooy's Jungle Lodge for 4 days/3 nights with our 20 month old toddlers in June. The Jungle Lodge is on a beautiful and lush area right on the Macal River. All the folks involved with the Lodge - the drivers, front desk, restaurant and cleaners - were so friendly and helpful. We stayed in a 2 bedroom... More

My stay at duPlooy's Jungle Lodge was everything I could have hoped for and more. William took us on a nature hike explaining all of the plants and their uses by the Mayan people. Stories galore as we walked the botanical gardens! Phillip hosted a bird watch where we saw toucans, large green parrots, and others. He knew their calls,... More

This is the 6th time I have stayed at Duplooys with the group of teachers we bring from the states. The lodge itself is just lush and lovely. Beautiful surroundings and amazing gardens. Judy and Shayla, the owners, always make us feel so welcome and cared for every step of the way. The staff take great pride in all that... More

The staff is so friendly and the food was amazing!!! We even got to met the cook and the owner! There was some much to do around the resort, we kept busy and even had a chance to relax! The rooms were clean and it was so relaxing at night to hear the sounds of the jungle. We even got... More

We spent three nights in May 2016 at DuPlooys and loved it! The adjoining rooms were spacious, very clean, and perfectly fitting of the area they are in! The food was fabulous, and especially enjoyed having breakfast with our toucans and other bird friends. The drivers/guides we had from DuPlooys were really incredible - so knowledgeable, so very nice. One... More

I have been living in Belize for three years now but first visited DuPlooy's in 1998! I just had to go back when a friend came to visit, and it is more amazing than ever while still maintaining its original elegant jungle charm. The setting and grounds are lush and the botanic park is magnificent - it has grown so... More

The selling point here is the Botanic Gardens, adjacent to the property. We'd otherwise not have had enough to do. This was the most expenses of the lodges we visited, but not worth the premium. The cabins are nice, and clean, but unremarkable and a bit old and dreary. There is a bar with a deck and feeding stations for... More

We stayed 3 days and it wasn't nearly long enough. The setting is gorgeous. Stroll through the impressive, large Botanical Garden. We stayed in the Tree House - magical! Entire resort immaculate, including the room. (Concerned about air conditioning? Don't be - fans and a lovely cross breeze do the job, and as a bonus you hear the tropical birds... More

We had a wonderful time at DuPlooy's. This was my family's most memorable vacation ever. Each staff member was friendly and professional; the rooms were clean and comfortable; the guides were good drivers, knowledgeable, chatty and friendly; the food was lovely; seeing the birds each morning was a fun treat; the massages were great; the trips were amazing. Bring sturdy,... More
