We stayed in the Toucan house as a group of 5 adults. It was very comfortable. We really enjoyed sitting on our porch and chatting in the morning and at night. Elmer, Jose, and the rest of the staff were AMAZING!! We felt like we were part of the Maya Mountain family and received great recommendations. The food was also...

Comfortable, thatched roof cottages, great to have a quiet jungle location, but still close to town. Very polite, reasonable staff, including the friendly owner. Good happy hour nibbles. Very nice jungle feel to the dining room/lounge area.

This above all amazing! Location was convenient to ruins and beautiful as well! Stayed in a family room for 6 prepared with extra towels and cooking equipment essentials. The food at the restaurant is great and the place is beautiful. The staff is amazing and Carlos was great in the restaurant! There are labeled jungle plants everywhere and the atmosphere...

Pros: - great staff. cannot emphasize this enough. - great food, well worth it to stay here for dinner instead of heading to town - will organize tours for you - good rooms - drinkable water free available everywhere - free snacks Cons: - while dinner is priced appropriately for the quality, the non-special breakfast can get pricey - some...

MML was the perfect place for us! It's close enough to town that you can walk or take a cab and get a meal or go to the market. But the restaurant at the lodge is also really good! We had an amazing meal there. They helped us set up our tours and shuttles to and from BZE. We had...

Excellent attention to detail and food. Staff and owner were all great. Highly recommended. The food was a little expensive, but worth it. It's a little out of the way, but it's only $5 by taxi into town.

We like to have the comforts of home (hot water, ac, and internet, but we also like to feel like we are roughing it a little also. We went the packaged route with meals and tours included. The price was reasonable, the food was excellent, and we had so much fun on the tours. Doing it this way we packed...

I had an amazing two day stay at Maya Mountain Lodge & Wellness Center. Bart and Suzi are the owners and some of the friendliest and nicest people I have met in Belize. It was wonderful meeting you and sharing a little about our life at the lodge as well as the two major projects we are working on: Pro-Organic Belize and the Belize Wellness Institute. We hope to make a difference in the world by acting locally. Thanks for the encouragement. We look forward to your next visit. Bart
