Stayed 3 nights during high season and place was a ghost town? Eleazar was terrific and accommodating with arranging tours. Had only one breakfast here..prices are high..ate most meals across the road at Log Cab-Inn. Room was spacious and clean, but minimum amenities..fridge, microwave would be a plus. Overall a good value.

Windy Hill Resort lies in a beautiful tropical setting. The rooms in individual buildings are island-nice with very comfortable beds. The bar area is attractive with nice decor. However, there was no hot water in our rooms and we thought the restaurant was overpriced.

Very slow service in restaurant and bar. Room had no towels and several cockroaches in the bathroom. When I asked for towels I was told to go to the office. It was very dark and I could not find it. The swimming pool was nice, food was ok, nothing great.

Over all the place worked well for us, but a few things to note. First, their restuarant is overpriced and for the time we were there was dead (aka no atmosphere), as was the case with their bar. Also, internet, is spotty and slow, but then again that is the case for everywhere we stayed in Belize. Finally, the tours...

A pleacent stay at Windy Hill; quiet and peaceful. Unfortunately we left the place with mixed feelings. When asking for a taxi to the Guatemalen border, one of the persons at det service-desk offered to drive us in his own car for 50% of the taxi-price. We ended up paying 7 times more to him than necessary.Take care !

This is a little outside San Ignacio, on the way to the Guatemalan border. Buses to or from Belize City will actually stop at the entrance if you ask them, so no need to disembark at San Ignacio and take a taxi, but the cobbled path into the property is steep and a bit of a task on foot with...

We had a great time at Windy Hill. Beginning with the initial email exhanges with Elmer, everything met or exceded our expectations. All of the staff were super friendly and accomodating to our group of four adults and two three-year-olds. Elmer sent their van to pick us up from Belize International airport, and the driver made several stops for us...

There was a restaurant on the premises that was okay but the selections were very limited. The people were very nice. The bed was hard and the pillows were lumpy. The air conditioner made a lot of noise and then just quit just before going to bed.

Visited this resort during the off season, luckily for me, that meant a lot of vacancy and a very private stay as well as use of the pool. The room was very nice, comfortable, and spacious. The while resort is very clean as well as the room. There's a bar and restaurant on the property, which was going into renovation...

Have stayed at Windy Hill twice, once in season, once off season. The cabanas are well maintained and just enough room between them to have a feel of privacy. The bar almost seems like your own private place, with pool tables, ping pong and lots of games lying around. Even a small swimming pool nearby. Felt, the restaurant was just...
