The stay started out as well as would be hoped for however the problems really began after we left. Chaa Creek had originally charged our credit card prior to our arrival. After we checked out however they charged an additional $1,054.13 U.S. dollars. We emailed the hotel and called them as soon as we learned about the issue 2 days...

excellent people, awesome food, and excellent cottages. couldn't ask for anymore. too bad I had to leave. A/C would have been nice. Got a personal tour from Mick and was ready to ask for a job. need to get off the grid, this is the place. Hollering monkies are your morning alarm clock.

We enjoyed our stay at Chaa Creek. The people were lovely the guides informative and made the excursions special. The food was very good. Our picky nine year old twins were happy with the food and so were the more sophisticated eaters in our crew.

We stayed at Chaa Creek for 3 nights and absolutely loved it. The lodge was amazing, food was wonderful, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. There was so much to do, from river canoeing, cave tours, and Maya ruin tours, we could have stayed busy for over a week. If you have the chance you MUST visit.

My husband and I spent 4 nights at Chaa Creek with our boys (ages 11 and 13). We flew from Ambergris Caye and it was so easy; the air strip is about 5 minutes away. We stayed in the Macal Cottage and our kids stayed in their own cottage near us. The hardest part for us was the lack of...

We had a wonderful time at Chaa Creek! Would definitely go again! We spent the first 3 days of our Belize vacation here before moving on to Placencia. We traveled with our 2 teenagers - 18 and 15 years old and they really enjoyed Chaa Creek as well. I personally LOVED the pool and the spa. My husband and kids...

My girlfriend and I spent four wonderful nights at the Macal River Camp hosted by Docio and his family. The casitas were perfect and clean, the home cooked breakfasts and dinners were delicious and the access to the other amenities of the resort (infinity pool, bar, trails, etc.) were tremendous. They helped us with booking several excursions and the resort...

Our trip to Chaa Creek's casitas was everything we could hope for: beautiful setting; friendly, helpful staff; excellent food. Our daughter has celiac. Staff were amazing and made sure our daughter enjoyed delicious meals without having to worry about her allergy.

A restful, gorgeous place set in a forest. Attentive, helpful staff (Denise!) go out of their way for their guests. This is my first five star recommendation in Trip Advisor. Wish we saw a toucan, but we did see an ocelot!

We stayed at the camp casita's and it was everything that I had expected. Docio and his family keep the grounds and facilities clean. The food was the best we had in all of Belize. Real home cooking and delicious! We had howler monkeys coming through the camp early every morning and many varieties of birds as well. The hiking...
