My husband and I had an incredible visit to Jaguar Creek in July 2022. Since we visited during the slower rainy season, we had the resort almost entirely to ourselves during our stay (there was one other couple one night; we were the only visitors the other night). The location is gorgeously nestled in the rainforest with abundant trees, plants, and flowers everywhere. Tubing along the creek was extremely refreshing and relaxing. We enjoyed the nature walk, and the prayer labyrinth was peaceful and good for my soul. The meals were plentiful and the service was very attentive to our needs. The staff communicated with us and coordinated travel to and from the resort, as well as accommodations for the ATM tour. The cabana was warm during the day in July, but the overhead fan, standing fans, and breeze through the open windows cooled things down. I appreciate Jaguar Creek's mission to supporting and empowering the local community, and their commitment to making our stay memorable.…
This is my second visit to Jaguar Creek and both have been exceptional. My first visit with my friend was so enjoyable that I decided to bring my family back for a two night stay. Family accommodations are on one side of the resort while guests that are single or in couples are on the other side. We stayed in a family cabana which was very comfortable for four adults and two children. The children were thrilled to swim in the river with free use of inner tubes. It was a unique experience for them. We made use of the bicycles and hiking trail. We enjoyed the family style meals in the dining room. The staff was wonderful in every way. The location is convienient to many inland attractions. My favorite part was the beauty of the grounds and the sounds of nature that surrounded us including waking to the sounds of the howler monkeys off in the distance.…
The people and surroundings at Jaguar Creek are wonderful! There is something so serene about this place. We have visited many times and it is always perfect from beginning to end. It is a very special place.
We had a wonderful stay at Jaguar Creek. The grounds are beautiful and waking up every morning to the sounds of the birds and other nature was incredible. The staff was amazing from Arileni who planned everything for us before we arrived, Francisco who made great drinks, the kitchen staff with their tasty meals, and Franklin who took us everywhere. Please note the lodging is rustic (no A/C, no wifi) but for me that was part of the charm. We traveled with our family and had 2 teenagers and an 11 year old and it was great to unplug and focus on each other. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for something different. For excursions we really enjoyed the Cave Tubing and Mayan Ruins.
Our family had the most wonderful time at Jaguar Creek. We weren't sure what to expect before we arrived. We were all just hoping that it looked somewhat like the online pictures. Let me tell you, we were all blown away by the exquisite beauty all around us. Everything about Jaguar Creek exceeded our expectations. The scenery, the jungle sounds, the wonderful staff, the tasty food, the cozy and clean cabanas, and the adventures that awaited us all around within a one hour driving distance were nothing less than extraordinary. After our stay here, we went to Caye Caulker for a week. Our family of seven sat around wishing we were still at Jaguar Creek. We all agreed this is a place we would absolutely return to if we had the chance. We give it the highest recommendation!
My family and I love this place!!! It has a beautiful environment, nature hikes, a creek to swim and tube in, yoga platform, hammocks, is in the jungle, you can see so many stars at night, wake up to the birds and fall asleep to the sounds of the night animals. Fresh air all the time. The staff are the kindest sweetest hearted people. The food is delicious. Comfy beds, warm showers. It’s central to many national parks and adventures. And they have a shuttle. I’ve stayed here solo, as a couple and with family and friends for special events. Each time is unique and special. What’s amazing is that they also support Belizean children get an education to help break the poverty cycle. My family, friends and I highly recommend this place. We have stayed in Jaguar Creek in February and we absolutely loved it. This place is a real hidden gem in tranquil beauty of Belizean jungle. There is so much wildlife in the area and you can always book jungle walks, bird watching and many more activities. They are also very good cooks and you are able to taste the best of thr Belizean cousin. The entire experience was perfect during our stay and we both hope to visit them again soon as this was our best holiday ever. Thanks so much to all the amazing staff for making our stay so memorable.
Absolutely amazing! The grounds are stunningly beautiful and all the staff were very polite and accommodating. We were there with a group and everything went perfectly. The meals were delicious and the conference room was well equipped. We can't wait to come back and explore more.
Our family of 6 (4 teens/young adults) just returned from a wonderful week in Belize. We stayed two nights in the family cabana at Jaguar Creek and had wonderful jungle accommodations. We ate breakfast and dinner there each day and the authentic homemade meals were delicious!. We loved the river cave float/ zip line excursion also. Would also recommend an excursion to Xunantunich Myan ruins. The staff is exceptional. We will definitely stay at Jaguar creek again.
We enjoyed our stay very much. The staff was friendly and helpful. The jungle sounds at night are memorable and the cabin design thoughtful. I would highly recommend this to friends. We stayed two nights on our way back from Placencia.
