I really enjoyed my stay, the room was awesome, clean and the service was amazing. The breakfasts and suppers where very good. Made many friends at the lodge, from staff to other guests. Made my visit to Belize enjoyable!!

I don't know where to start. This place offers many elements to satisfy your adventure spirit, from the moment you come in you get this friendly casual vibe from the staff, they put us in a tree house with an amazing view , outdoor shower and bathtub, meals are delicious and the jungle, caves and amazing adventures are life enhancing... So much to be said for this wonderful place. From arrival to departure, the staff and management team are awesome. The rooms and they way each room is situated, allowing for privacy of each guest, was well planned out. We were part of a Prepare to Roar expedition, and so the quiet time needed to reflect on the lessons learnt,... More

The Jungle Lodge and their staff created, provided, made possible the most joyful, exciting, accomplishment-filled, safe, clean, educational, adventuresome experience in my life. From the moment we were picked up at the Belmopan airport until we were dropped off at the Belize Airport, the excursion to Ian Anderson's Caves Branch Jungle Lodge was exquisite. We stayed in a luxury tree... More

This Eco Lodge has many good points including, the grounds, the solar panel driven electrical system, the cave guides. However, the policy of killing poisonous snakes on the site to protect visitors does not sit well with the eco banner. Surely it would be possible to train some of the large work force in safe capture and relocation of the... More

Caves branch lodge in Balmopan, Belize is simply amazing. Luxury treehouse accomodations nestled up high among the tropical rain forrest is the ideal escape for any honeymooners. We loved it. The 4-star community-styled gatherings at breakfast, lunch, and dinner was a way to meet and enjoy fellow travelers. The staff took care of our every need, and were great in... More

Fantastic food and pampering to your every need, but I knocked it down a point because of one key deficiency -- you cannot be certain to schedule the adventures that you'd like. The format is an all-inclusive with meals, even beer and rum drinks, and a daily adventure included. However, the adventure offerings in practice fall far short of what... More

Our group of 3 adults & 3 girls (ages 3, 5 & 6) recently spent 5 nights at Caves Branch & loved every minute of it. All the staff were so friendly and helpful. The food was first class & chef Jay went out of his way to prepare special dishes for 2 of the girls who cant have dairy... More

Great: The whole space is beautiful, nice botanizing efforts, great physical plant decisions with lovely living spaces. Trips are a mixed bag, but the "waterfall" cave is really special. Not so great: Food was a big rigamarole (30+ minutes announcing) but actually neither very tasty nor easy to get (had to be quick). Very expensive way to do Belize. Remote.... More

My wife and I split a 12 day stay in Belize - 6 days at Cave's Branch and 6 days on the beach on Ambergris Caye and are very pleased that we started at Cave's Branch. The overall property is spectacular - from towering jungle vegetation to the spectacular botanical collection to the many adventure sites. We stayed in a... More
