Caves Branch was AMAZING! From the people, to the food, to the adventures, Caves Branch offered nothing but the best all around. We went in February, and the weather was great, not too hot, and the bugs were at a minimum. This is the Jungle - so do be prepared with bug spray, and come equipped with at least 2...

We had the pleasure of spending the night at Ian's incredible Jungle Lodge. I heard that it was good - but never expected it to be sooo great. We spent the night in one of the "Canopy Tree-house"; well worth the climb up - all 178 steps. The accommodations were spacious and well thought out. Cozy, comfortable and "jungle chic"....

We arrived via the local bus (which was very easy to navigate due to the schedules being printed in English) and were dropped at the side of the Hummingbird Highway at the long entrance to IACB. We had backpacks so the 1 km hike or so to the reception was no problem. If I had luggage it would have been...

Great place to stay, we were in a jungle suite and the screened windows were totally open to the jungle with no shade or blinds or curtains in the bedroom, a bit disconcerting at night but when we were there the moon was out so the view from our bedroom was what I would call 'eerily magical.' We heard night...

HI chicago20162016, Thank you so much for your review... We are simply delighted that you enjoyed your visit with us! As you mentioned, the rooms- although they do not have A/C's, stay relatively cool especially at night time and with the wide open but screened in windows that run floor to ceiling, the airiness is something that really gets your...

Caves Branch is hands down the best hotel I've ever stayed in. I'm already planning my trip back! The staff are phenomenal. The rooms are exquisite. The location is stunning. And the wide variety of activities mean there's something for everyone (as long as you like nature and are looking for a bit of adventure). Plus, they have an on-site...

As my other review states for The Sleeping Giant, a business associate made me a reservation there, and here at Ian Anderson's for two nights each. This place was full of charm and attention to detail but a different experience all together. The rooms do not have glass windows but screens. My room was literally a "mountaintop experience". I could...

HI BMcElhaney2350, We LOVED your review and thank you so much... we had to giggle thinking about the music choices you ticked off but in reality, the music sorta makes you take a step back in time and comments from many of our guests take the same tone "wow, I haven't hear that song in years"...makes a great conversation starter!...

We had an amazing time! We arranged our trip through Caves Branch (which I found on Google) and they did an awesome job! We did the jungle/beach package and thought it was the perfect combination. Our accommodations were wonderful, we stayed in the River Treehouse during the jungle portion of our trip. We loved the outdoor shower. The screened treehouse...

This somewhat secluded lodge is a great place to relax. The staff are friendly and efficient. Several "day trip" packages are available that are fun and well organized. Internet service is available and offers good speed, but only is available in the dining area, not in the rooms. My U.S.-based Verizon cell phone roamed well throughout the property.
