We stayed at Sleeping Giant twice, first as a couple and then returned with extended family. Its one of my all time favorite properties! The Trophy husband and I first visited as a couple in May, and it seemed to be mostly couples and honeymooners. We rented one of the casitas, and it was fantastic. Set back off the walking... More

We just returned from a 3 night stay at the Sleeping Giant Lodge. It was paradise in the jungle! The picture attached to this hotel description looks like the view from our room - mountain view suite 3. Incredible views, singing birds, hammock, plunge pool, jacuzzi on the deck - and a very tastefully furnished, air conditioned room inside. If... More

My husband and I went back to the Sleeping Giant this year and we brought my mom and dad along. (They LOVED it!) As expected, it was another wonderful stay. The staff is so awesome!!! We'd only been there once before and so many of them remembered us! They truly make you feel welcome! My parents were on the ground... More

We spent the first 3 nights of our honeymoon at the sleeping giant lodge. It was so beautiful and relaxing. From the moment we got there the staff was extremely welcoming and took very good care of us. The property is beautiful and our casita was very private and amazingly put together. It was secluded too, so we always felt... More

My new husband and I went to Sleeping Giant for part of our honeymoon trip to Belize. We loved our stay, the rooms are immaculate, grounds amazing and staff wonderful. Because of the location you eat at their restaurant, which was fine because the food was good but wished we had done more research so that we could have stopped... More

We had the opportunity to spend three wonderful nights at the Sleeping Giant Lodge after spending four nights at the Almond Beach Resort in Hopkins! From the time of our arrival at the Sleeping Giant Lodge we experienced a totally first class, five start experience. Beginning with our arrival we were welcomed by the bartender and lodge manager. We were... More

By far this was one of the best vacations I've ever taken and was very impressed with food menu and service. The manager Eugene and his staff are amazing it gets no better. They make you feel at home and the hospitality don't seem like they're trying hard you can tell it's just natural and authentic. I'm definitely going back.... More

My husband and I decided to go to Belize for our honeymoon and had our first stop at The Sleeping Giant. The warm welcome we received and felt during our entire stay was great and made for a relaxing destination. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. If you're planning on going somewhere you would have to pay to get... More

We stayed four night in one of the mountain view rooms with a plunge pool. It was worth the slight upgrade in price. We had an amazing new of the Sleeping Giant high in the forest canopy. Each morning we woke, made coffee, and sat in the plunge pool looking out into the forest canopy. We didn't mind the hike... More

I wish I could give more than five stars! There are truly no words to describe Sleeping Giant Lodge, but I will try...😊 We flew into BZE and rented a car from Hertz. The roads to SG are fine--not American highways, but well paved and easy to drive. We bought gas three times and some food and water at a... More
