When we got there we wanted to leave but because we would have lost our entire deposit we decided to stay and make the most of it. Our bed was very small and the room itself was tiny. There was hardly any room to walk....More
I stayed here 4 nights over a two-week period. The upstairs room was nice with AC and a small fridge. The downstairs room, #35 was not good because it was so noisy. It is right across the hall from the check-in desk, so you hear...More

First time travelers to Belize City. We booked this place in advance online. I figured with as many good reviews as it had received it must be alright.

The lighthouse is across the bridge and a little further down the road past the water taxi. After crossing the bridge you would turn right. The first water taxi is right on that corner. Keep going past the second water taxi which is within easy walking distance (even while pulling luggage along with you) The tourist village and the second water taxi are in the same place. (Personally the tourist village is just a tourist trap) The Lighthouse is a little further up the street.

The owner had a dog walking around if I remember correctly. Larger dog, but very friendly and quiet. I'm sure if you email Jermaine (?) he will get back to you quickly. This place is great for the price and location.
