Staff were extremely helpful with directions, finding restaurants and getting taxies. The location was convenient and accommodation were fine. There was difficulty getting wifi in rooms farther from the office but it was available in the office area.

I stayed here for 2 nights with my two travel buddies when we had flights leaving on two different days. We chose Bakadeer mostly because it was so cheap-- the accommodations were on par with the price. Overall, we had a pleasant stay. Our room was clean and it had 3 single beds (just as we wanted!) and AC. The...

The staff went above and beyond for my fiance and I when we stayed here. They were absolutely amazing. The room was nice. Clean and comfortable with A.C.. The only downside is that it isn't exactly located in the best area of town. The staff still made the stay enjoyable and I can't describe how helpful they were.

You get the picture as soon as you walk in and find two motorcycles parked in the lobby. Nasty part of town. Surrounded by run-down shacks. Internet didnt' work. And only available in lobby. No stopper for tub. A/C barely functional. Hate to see this place in the hot time of year. Was a breakfast available with bread, cereals and...

We chose the Bakadeer because it was close enough to the bus station to catch the early bus. We were pleasantly surprised that we could also walk to the Riverside Inn (about 3 blocks) for dinner. Christina, the manager, and her staff were so friendly and helpful. They arranged a taxi to take us to the bus station and even...

We booked this from abroad. Though all of Belize City is slummy, this area was worse. We couldn't even stay in the room for more than a minute. It reeked of chemical cleaner that you felt in your throat after breathing it for a minute. The Windows didn't open, the whole property was ugly. The owner, however, was very kind...

Staffed 24-hours, this hotel is adequate for a night or two in Belize City. The front desk helped in finding a place for dinner and hailing a cab. The hot coffee at breakfast was a highlight! Toast, cheese, bananas, and cereal filled us for the full day ahead.

It was a pleasant stay. Staff was very helpful in directing us. We went walking in the early evening to the waterfront. An easy jaunt. Next morning we explored on foot as far as the fish market and bus terminal. A good location and very pleasant staff. Only wish I had known about the Belize shuttle and transport for $8...

My Fiance', my Mom and I stayed at the Bakadeer Inn in mid-November of 2015 and were happy with our experience. The staff and management were friendly and helpful, and the location was pretty convenient for walking to many/most places we wanted to go. My mom is 77 and had no trouble getting around with us. We will be staying...
