My sister and I chose to stay at Barefoot Beach Belize for two nights before staying at a less expensive hostel. Barefoot is considered south of the island and is about five to ten minutes walking distance from the busy part of the island. Barefoot provides all guests with bicycles (some in better shape than others) which we used every... More

I stayed in one of the side view ocean rooms. It was very nice. It was not big, but more than accommodating for 1-2 people, maybe even 3. Had a nice king sized bed, private bathroom with hot water, tv, fridge, WIFI. Perfect for my trip. The people in the office were friendly and helpful. The dock was nice and... More

We stayed in a cottage at Barefoot for a few days and it was a great spot to relax and enjoy the island. Accommodation has everything needed and the private jetty is delightful. It takes a couple of minutes to wander up to the shops and restaurants, but is nice to be slightly removed from the main strip. Susan and... More

I recently stayed at Barefoot Beach for a week in May. We chose Barefoot after researching through Tripadvisor and felt that was our best match. We were right! The location was perfect- close enough to walk to the center of town while also being away from the noise and street traffic. Susan provides bikes for free to travel all about... More

Great place. Nice walk from the water taxi to Barefoot Beach. Check in, check out was simple and straightforward. Room was clean, exactly as described. Even the sea water was the perfect temperature! Bikes are super handy and provide freedom and exercise, all included in the super low prices. AC was nice at night- slept well. Be sure to snorkel... More

My second time staying here and still can't find a thING to complain about! I stayed in a hut and the price was right. It was the perfect size for 2. It's a short bike ride (which are complementary) from the man part of town. To me, this place is the best value for the best accommodations on the island.

We stayed here one week in the middle of April in one of the cheap huts in the back. The huts are very clean and have everything you need. Susan is a very nice and welcoming host and she takes care of everything you need. The place is directly at the beach and it is very relaxing spending some hours... More

I am so glad we picked barefoot to stay in Caye Caulker! It is only a short walk (or bike ride on one of the bikes Susan lends you) to all the restaurants, but was far enough from the party seeing on the north end of the island. Right on the beach, and a lovely dock with beach chairs and... More

My boyfriend and I stayed here three nights (in a studio apartment) at the end of our trip to Guatemala, and this was a great base for our really fun visit to Caye Caulker. The location is great- a quieter part of the island but you can walk/cycle a few minutes to the busier part, and it has a perfect... More

The location of the Barefoot Beach Hotel is amazing and was the reason we haven chosen this hotel. Unfortunately the price is quite high and the interior equipment has seen better times. The owner is nice and you can have free bikes. Overall there're better places but the location is one of the best.
