A well run and very clean property away from the 20-something partying but close enough (you can get anywhere in minutes by bike). The free kayaks, bikes, filtered water were all nice touches and the staff was very helpful in giving recommendations.

We loved our stay at Colinda Cabanas. We stayed for 8 days in two different rooms. Second Row Upper: This unit has an air conditioned bedroom, and a separate kitchen and bathroom which are not air conditioned. There is no inside living space, but there is a nice porch with great view. We loved this room! Ground Level Cabana #4:... More

Great rooms with a good ocean view. Kayaks, docks, service, cleanliness, bikes, and room were all great. A/c and tv is wanted. Quiet and relaxing. Only problem was the power was on and off on the whole island our first two days so fans and a/c were sometimes unavailable. However it was the whole island and we were grateful to... More

Such a lovely experience! Myself and my boyfriend stayed there for 3 nights, and only wish I could have stayed longer! The cabins are beautiful, very clean, with a little decking and hammock.. There is a small private beach with a gorgeous pier, with several separate seating areas allowing for privacy. Brilliant location, not in the touristy area of the... More

I stayed two nights at this hotel at the recommendation of the hotel I stayed in San Pedro. The location was towards the end of the island but still walking distance to everything. If you have luggage, it's best to take a golf cart taxi from the ferry dock which only costs $5 BZ. Juan was a gracious host and... More

Had a great time, very clean and nice staff and owners. Research the "kitchenette", Not near what needed. Very helpful owners and staff but if staying in HOT months make sure you have a Dan! Saved me!! Bug spray a must!

Thank You Miellala2 for your candid review. Situated about a mile off shore, we consider the barrier reef to be quite close. It is easily visible from the beach; and the sound of the "roar" of the waves hitting the reef can be quite enjoyable at night. Many excellent snorkeling spots can be reached in less than 5 minutes by... More

Beach front property, private pier, and spacious rooms with a kitchenette are reasons to come. The reason to return is the staff. They truly understand how to welcome you and make your stay stress free. Your stay comes with free bike, canoe, and snorkel rental. Forgot the after-sun lotion? Don't worry, there's probably some at the "free to borrow" counter. This... More

We stayed in cabana #7 and had a wonderful time. Juan greeted us right when we arrived, let us freshen up from travel, then gave us a detailed map of the island with restaurant/snorkeling recommendations (priceless!). Our cabana was cleaned everyday, and Juan helped us book a day trip to the mainland to see Altun Ha and go cave tubing!... More

Colinda Cabanas was AMAZING! Juan and Emolita were so incredibly nice and welcoming along with all the rest of the staff. My boyfriend and I stayed in the beach front upper suite and it was totally worth the extra money. Views were gorgeous, breeze was nice, the place was perfectly clean and stocked with all the kitchen appliances we needed.... More

Great little place to stay. The staff there kept our room extremely tidy with daily room service. Very friendly staff, great recommendations for places to eat and activities. One night while we were lounging on the dock, my husband dropped the key through the crack, the keys to our cabana and safe. Juan didn't hesitate to go get a snorkel... More
