I have stayed here twice. This hotel has the best location on the island. You are within walking distance of everything. The staff is top notch and the views just fantastic. If you want to slow down for a few days I recomend this hotel.
Blue Tang was a wonderful and relaxing place to be. They had a small outdoor pool; a continental breakfast included in the stay had a very nice selection of food. There are tables and chairs poolside to either enjoy your meal out-of-doors or in your...More

My husband, our three kids (8, 10, 11), and I went to Belize on a missions trip last summer. We stayed for one night in Belize city. The next day we left to San Pedro. we got a taxi at the hotel that took us to the boat station. We purchased the tickets when we got there. You’ll find tourists from different parts of the world at the station traveling from Belize city to San Pedro or other islands nearby. We waited about on hour to board and leave. As soon as we got to the port in San Pedro we found lots of taxi drivers offering their services. The kids had fun traveling by boat to San Pedro and it wasn’t expensive. If I’m not wrong I think we paid $40.00 p/p. They do charge you city tax when you leave the country. You have to be advised that if you wanna really enjoy the whole island you should rent a golf cart which is what we did. We paid $300.00 for five days.
I hope I’ve been helpful to your question. Have fun!
