We had an amazing time at this gorgeous resort! The room was everything we expected with a very comfortable bed, beautiful bathroom with a luxurious bathtub and shower, great air conditioning, mini fridge, and screened in porch. We also had a plunge pool which we used quite often, and a fantastic view (we were right there) of the ocean. The water was clear and blue with no sargassum. We could just walk right into the warm, waist deep water.
The food here was awesome!! Tiffany and Ryan (the owners) are great chefs who put thought into every detail. We had chicken tacos with homemade guacamole and pico de gallo that were delicious!! We also had a beautifully arranged fresh fruit plate and yummy watermelon juice. Their sourdough pancakes and banana bread were to die for, and the homemade chocolate chip cookies shouldn’t be missed! We even had Swedish Meatballs and pasta that were the best I’d ever had! There wasn’t anything on the menu or otherwise that we didn’t enjoy.
The best part of our experience was the way we were treated by Tiffany and Ryan. From the moment we landed in San Pedro, they were there with warm smiles to greet us and a golf cart for us to rent. They made us feel immediately at ease, and were great guides. Whenever we needed something they were just a text away, and they really cared that we were having the best time possible.
We also took advantage of Tiffany’s Reiki treatment. She is truly gifted and it was very helpful. We will definitely be back again!

We just got back from the most incredible stay at Ix Chel Wellness Resort in San Pedro, Belize, and we’re still daydreaming about it. As seasoned travelers, it’s rare we’re blown away, but this place? Wow.
The trip from the airport to the resort is about 45 minutes, but we did it on a golf cart, and honestly, it flew by. Driving through the island like that was such a fun start to the trip—we barely noticed the time.
When we arrived, Ryan and Tiffany greeted us with fresh juice and cold towels, and from that first moment, we felt completely at home. They have this way of making you feel like old friends, and it really sets the tone for the entire stay.
Our casita was everything we could have asked for—cozy, well-stocked, and thoughtfully designed. They had all the little things you don’t realize you need until you do, like bug spray, bath salts, and other essentials. After long days of exploring, that bath became our best friend. Relaxing in the tub after an adventure-filled day was perfect.
Waking up to the sight of the sea right from our room was magic. Even when it rained, it felt peaceful and calming. We also had a private pool and lounge chairs outside, which made it easy to slip into full relaxation mode. When we wanted something more lively, Secret Beach was just around the corner—bars, music, souvenirs, and all the good vibes.
A special shoutout to Harvest Café—the food was out of this world. Breakfast is included, and we still can’t stop thinking about the coffee. Tiffany’s fresh sourdough bread? Unreal. And the stew chicken wrap with homemade tortillas was one of the best meals we’ve had in a long time.
Ryan and Tiffany didn’t just run the place—they planned our whole experience. They handled our excursions and dinner reservations, and everything went off without a hitch. It felt like having personal guides who genuinely cared about making our trip perfect.
And if you’re into yoga or reiki, Tiffany is amazing. Her sessions were such a meaningful part of our stay—she’s truly gifted. Even if wellness isn’t usually your thing, this is the place to give it a try.
Honestly, if you’re coming to San Pedro and want a place that’s laid-back but also full of thoughtful touches, Ix Chel is it. It’s close enough to everything but still feels like a peaceful retreat. We couldn’t recommend it more and can’t wait to go back!

My sister and I booked a fairly last minute trip over New Years to San Pedro and were looking for an “off the beaten path” experience on the island and we found it! Ix Chel is on a very quiet, secluded part of the island, about a 25-30 min golf card drive from the city center. Tiffany and Ryan, the owners, helped us plan our entire visit - booking our golf cart pick up from the airport, a private yoga session on their beach, and a boat pick up and snorkel tour. They also recently open a wonderful cafe onsite with free delicious breakfast and wonderful drinks. The rooms are modern, clean, and refreshing. Even on a rainy day, they helped me book in room massages to spend the afternoon. We loved our stay and would recommend to others looking for an experience out of the hustle and bustle of the city center. Thank you Tiffany & Ryan!

I Stayed at Ixchel for a week and I have to say I did not expect my experience to be this good! I went down for a business trip/retreat and I came back wanting to go back already! From the moment we got there, to our week long stay, to the moment we left, everything was impeccable. The hosts really made you feel welcomed. They also have a cafe (harvest cafe), which they serve amazing healthy breakfasts (btw ask for the secret recipe pancakes! Absolutely delicious) , got to try many different coffee recipes while having an ocean view. The resort itself was a vibe. My luxurious beachfront casita with its own dip pool was everything I could ask for. Definitely recommended if you are looking for a relaxing luxurious retreat. They also offer wellness services like reiki & yoga don't forget to ask about them! I will be visiting soon again.
Thank you for everything !

This place and the owners exceeded our expectations! We felt completely relaxed the entire trip. The room was very calming, the setting was beautiful, the food was wonderful, and we couldn’t have asked for better hosts! Nothing like jumping into the pool after a day of touring the island, and enjoying a glass of wine while watching the sunset! My wife and I are so happy that we stayed here and will definitely be returning on our next trip to Belize.

We stayed at Ixchel this week and I can't rave enough about this stay. Clean, beautiful, and the customer service is unparalleled. Daily custom breakfasts, juices, coffee, and just the care Tiffany and Ryan take is amazing. There is paddle boards and kayaks. A refreshing pool. Screened in porch. The decorations are beautiful and did i mention a tub? There is no other place we will stay in secret beach unless it's Ixchel. Book now you won't regret it.

Amazing place with stunning sunsets, incredible food and all the creature comforts of a world class accommodation. Rooms were immaculate and the beds were Heavenly. The staff were all so friendly and accommodating too. Quite solitude with a private beach all to yourself but close proximity to everything Belize has to offer. I would have given it 10 stars if I could! Will definitely be back.

Ryan and Tiffany are probably the best hosts I've ever had! They were super accommodating and made sure we experienced everything there is to the island. The've put alot of care and passion in what they've created and you really lose sense of time there. Absolutely stunning place and I cannot wait to go back, I already miss it so much!!

Where do I begin? From the moment I booked the room, Tiffany contacted me to obtain insights on the trip to see if I needed any assistance with local transportation (via golf cart), any special requests, etc.
She and her husband, Ryan, are simply amazing! You feel like you were speaking with friends when in their presence. This was my 3rd trip to the country and my first trip to San Pedro.
The location of the resort is on the beaten path (joke intended), but it is worth every bump and turn and wrong turn because they greeted us up the road when timing wasn't making sense for our arrival. AND having the sea and plunge pool as your daily view upon sun rising and setting were well worth it! We were greeted with pleasant smiles and a thoughtful surprise in my room as I came to usher in my birthday.
I can go on and on in this review, but I'll keep it short to say the facilities are great. The sea is calming & amazing to rejuvenate the mind, body, and soul. The beds and pillows were super comfy, the BREAKFAST was delicious from the breakfast sandwich to fruit selections, to iced coffee, and pressed coffee. I was impressed and can't wait to return.
