Spent one week at Paradise Villas in a two bedroom villa with friends and it exceeded our expectations. The villas are towards the northern end of the main streets of San Pedro and everything was within a 10 minute walk. As such, had access to all the restaurants and beachfront properties within the town. There are two supermarkets within a block (although the best one in town is 3-4 blocks away) and directly across the street is a stand that is only open first thing in the morning that offers fresh squeezed juices, freshly made fry jacks, and breakfast tortillas (eggs, beans, etc). Around the corner is Sparadise, which was an excellent facility for massage ($50USD per hour) or mani-pedi. The property itself is quite pretty, with flowering bushes everywhere. the maintenance staff is out every single day keeping it clean and beautiful. At night, there are security guards on site, which is comforting. The pool is sizeable and clean, with chaises available. And the "back" entrance leads directly onto the beach. As an early riser, I only had to go a few yards to watch the sun rise each morning. My villa was a two bedroom, each of which was comfortable and had air con as well as a ceiling fan. The living area had a table that sat three as well as a couch and a sitting chair. The cable TV was from Ft. Lauderdale, Florida and was a pretty full set of channels. Bathroom was fine and shower got nice and hot. My AirBnB host (Nellie) had ample supplies of towels, toilet paper, etc. It seemed as though the other guests we encountered also has their host pick them up and drop them back off at the airport. Overall, this is a great place for being in the main town of San Pedro.…
Paradise Villas is very comfortable and close to everything you need. Most importantly - it is on the beautiful Caribbean! but you are also close to good restaurants and grocery shopping. The landscaping is beautiful and the staff is very friendly and responsive.
Our stay at the Paradise Villas was incredible. We were greeted immediately upon arrival by Manny, who promptly took us to our beach front Villa. The check in process was the easiest and quickest I have ever experienced. Manny had arranged a golf cart rental for us for the week, and it was delivered within 10 minutes of our arrival. I noticed when we arrived the unit did not have an iron or a hair dryer. I messaged Manny and by the time we were back from dinner they were in our villa. Many people own the villas and were there when we were and they were all so welcoming and kind. Outside the gates of the villa is Palapa Bar and the Sand Bar which were full of amazing locals who showed my husband and I the best time. In front of the villa you can not drive golf carts so it is quite, but right in the middle of town and close to anything and everything. We spent our days exploring and snorkeling (by the way the snorkeling off the dock right out front was as good as Hol Chan). We will be back! Loved the Villas and San Pedro. …
Wow, this place was great! I didn't want to leave. From the very beginning, after booking, the staff reaches out asking what they can do to help with your stay. They'll even go to the grocery store, pick you up from the airport, arrange for your golf cart rental, and have it ready when you get there. We arrived during the time of Covid-19, they even arranged our testing before leaving the country. That was super helpful. The place was absolutely beautiful! Perfectly clean all the time and always quiet. Our condo was lovely, "10B". Nice little kitchenette, and cozy frontroom with a pull out bed, that I did fall asleep on while watching a movie. It was actually comfortable. I loved the balcony view. I could see the pool and the ocean. I took an afternoon nap in the balcony hammock. The bed was so comfortable, I usually don't like hotel beds, but this...awe, bliss! We also loved that we could walk to the beach in just 30 seconds. Walk to the grocery store in less than 5 minutes. Walk to LA Palapa " a popular sports bar on the water" in 2 minutes. We could walk any where. It's centerally located in town. It was the perfect location. We rarely used our golf cart. I have to say this was the best experience I've ever had from start to finish. …
I think this is our 8th or 9th time to stay here. Location is the best in town!! Any issues Nellie is prompt to help or fix! All of the staff is very friendly and helpful!! We were there in November 2020 and alot of places were still closed due to Covid but this trip everything was back open.
We had our sixth annual stay and had a great time in Condo 5A. We met all our “Belize” friends who come at this time of year. Lots of snorkeling and fishing adventures available. Close to the town of San Pedro but still relatively quiet and relaxing. Great pool set in beautiful gardens and palm trees and views of the ocean. Sam, Juan and all the staff did a great job. Back again next year for February in “Paradise”
The villas and the complex are great very close to shopping in San Pedro. The grounds are very nicely maintained The villas are clean well stocked and nicely decorated. The owner was so efficient when we first booked, returned our request to book villa right away and was very helpful knowing it was our first time to Belize The property manager Nellie was great as well she had arrangements made for pick up at the airport, and came around to check on us from time to time, She is a sweet lady, her go to guy Samir was fantastic, came around everyday, told us about restaurants, Secret Beach(great place) helped with arranging golf cart. We can't wait to come and stay again, which i hope will be next year
This was my second stay at Paradise Villas. The staff is fantastic and very accommodating. It's a perfect location right in the heart of San Pedro. Grocery stores across the street all the restaurants and bars with 10 min walk. For boat excursions they have a dock for easy pick up and to swim off of.
With all of the luxury and modest options this is definitely my choice!! Nicely cared for, excellent management - Emmanuel is on the ball. We met people who have been coming back to this place for 20 years because they love it so much. Our one bedroom flat faced the ocean and had everything we needed to prepare meals with a market only steps away. In terms of accessibility Ambergris is an ideal location if getting around can be difficult ie: those of us with arthritis/ bad knees... because you can drive and park your golf cart rental pretty much anywhere. The long dock in front of this Villa has stairs at the end so getting in and out of the ocean for a swim is easy. When we were there San Pedro was dealing with a reportedly higher volume of Sargassum/ Sea Grass than normal and when it dies on the shore it is volatile and putrid. Paradise Villa however has a sea wall so it doesn’t accumulate there like some of its neighbours, including some of the ‘high end’ resorts so this is another reason why this is an ideal place. We loved the pool, the location, the cleanliness, and were sad when it was time to leave. Having come to investigate real estate investment opportunities we were scheduled to stay at a newer development further south but missed the comfort and quaintness of Paradise Villa and plan to go back there when we return to San Pedro. (And I miss the soap, lol). I definitely recommend a snorkeling tour and a visit to Elvino’s for coconut shrimp and the best corn bread I’ve ever had. Also venture to The Truck Stop, Crazy Canucks, Marbucks, and a pizza at the Sandbar. The people of San Pedro are lovely, helpful, and sweet. We’ll be back. ❤️🇨🇦…
First off make sure you book with Nellie's! From start to finish very accommodating in every way! From the first email communication to arranging transportation back to the airport! Aiden was so helpful when we first arrived, he made sure we had water and ice. The complex is so well kept it really is beautiful! The Condo is very "cottage like" we enjoyed staying there it was perfect for us. The only complaint we have was the road noise. We stayed in 12A which is at the back of the complex, the bedroom and bathroom back up to the road so you hear noise until very late at night. We did get used to it after a couple of days. Even at the back of the complex it only takes minutes to get to the water. We snorkeled off the pier which was really cool. They've done a nice job creating a reef-like environment. If we ever visit San Pedro again, we would definitely stay at Paradise Villas (Nellie) again but would upgrade from the garden-view.…
