Our property has been in my family for almost 200 years, handed down from generation to generation. Originally the Sands Hotel, built in 1977, I remodeled in 2014 and opened up Parham Plaza hotel. We have a large property with a lot of little nooks where you can wrap yourself up in one of our hammocks and enjoy the ocean breeze under the shade of our palm trees. Cook your own food in our communal kitchen, and enjoy your meal in our garden gazebo or one of our picnic tables in the yard. We also have a large patio space with plenty of couch space for having a few drinks, listening to some tunes, and getting to know your fellow travelers.

Nice clean rooms, very central, great AC but the wifi was mediocre. All of the balconies are shared to multiple rooms. The biggest downside was that the hotel is near two nightclubs so you would hear the bass throughout the night until 4am. The hotel does provide rooms with sound machines that did the trip and it was fine with us but it is a word of warning. There is also no pool at this hotel.

We wanted to stay a short walk from Scuba School and Family Dive Center (which ended up being great), and Parham Plaza made sense. Unfortunately, the hotel is very run down and worst of all, it's impossible to get a good night of sleep. Barking dogs and ringing church bells at 6 AM complement the loud bass from the sound system of the neighboring bar, which, I kid you not, woke me up two nights ago at 3:50 AM (after having kept me up late). You know it's bad when the room comes equipped with a rain sound-maker on the nightstand. Adding to the ambiance, a roach fell out of the light fixture over my bed last night. In Dallas, we would call this place a "tear-down." Bottom line: PP is better than sleeping outside in that it keeps you dry, but there's nothing else to recommend it other than a friendly staff (but after you've checked in, that matters not at all).

The location is great, right near the beach and central, park. The hotel grounds lovely with lots of relaxing outdoor areas. Restaurants nearby and close walk to ferry terminals / water taxis. Staff friendly and helpful. If you book directly with the hotel’s website you can pick the exact room you want. Rooms themselves quite small and basically furnished. But most of the time you are only there to sleep. Thera are many outdoor areas to relax in. We were on the third floor that had enormous deck with ocean views, outdoor cooking with fridge, lounges and hammocks. We made use of this area. If you are after something basic that is close to everything than I can recommend, but not something for a romantic get away.

2nd night of a 8 days stay at Parham Plaza Hotel. Our room is very nice, newly renovated and very clean. Staff is super helpful and friendly. Great A/C unit, stable WI-FI microwave and mini fridge. We were not sure as we booked many months ago great value hotel at low price. No pool on-site but a lot of beaches around. Location... location. Right in the middle of the square, 2 minutes walk to the water taxi terminal. Traveling as a family of three with a 17 yrs old boy. Again, very comfortable space for us. Thw Price will allow us to do more adventure related activities. 3rd floor is a full d3ck looking to the ocean Will stay here again .

This was a very nice place for our stay in San Pedro. Clean, affordable, the staff was Super friendly and accommodating, and it was conveniently located in San Pedro. Everything was just a short walk away. Highly recommended, and I hope to return there as well.

We stayed at the Parham Plaza for a week. The room was large, clean and comfortable. Everyone was so friendly, we felt like family. The hotel was located in the heart of San Pedro, right across the street from the water taxi dock. The staff hooked us up with connections for our excursions, and checked to make sure we were enjoying our stay. The wifi was wonderful and the A/C was amazing. We will definitely be back as soon as we can fit in another trip to Belize!

Very clean, spacious apt/room on the first floor. The staff was friendly and helpful. They arranged for a golf cart rental drop off and pick up and Nialey gave recommendations for restaurants which were great. Maid service available whenever you want. Comfortable bed, beach towels, coffee and maker in room, unlimited drinking water, and great location if you want to walk the town. We got to see San Pedro on foot. The only drawback is the noise at night. We were on the back side of the hotel next to the street and there is a lot of activity all night. I was able to sleep through it fine but a light sleeper should get a room at the front or bring earplugs. Fyi there is no pool and dont expect to go the beach nearby. Its all seaweed except for Secret beach many miles away.

stayed 5 nights in ground floor room facing Street in rear of hotel. room clean, possibly recently updated, plenty of room, kitchen area, refrigerator, stove and utensils etc.. all enough to cook and prepare ones own meals if wanted. coffee pot as well as fresh coffee and powdered fixings provided. also large bottles of fresh water. a huge plus for both. found bed to be very comfortable. good housekeeping and great, very helpful staff. very good free WI -fi. great downtown location and gated, green grassed grounds across from central park. pool would be nice. only issue was street noise late at night and early morning from golf carts as well as pedestrians on busy street, may bother light sleepers or other. would recommend and definitely stay here again if looking for no frills type hotel and not a resort type facilty.

We stayed at the Parham Plaza for 9 nights. This hotel was chosen for its price and location - it is very near the water taxi dock - less than a 100m walk. The hotel was reasonably clean, the staff were very friendly and helpful (including the resident cat) - daily service was available Minor maintenance matters were dealt with very promptly and the front desk staff was very helpful with arranging excursions. The room was spacious, clean, the bed was comfortable - it included a microwave and fridge. We used the communal kitchen on the third floor a number of times - it could use more dishes like plates and pots (there was a reasonable fry pan but only a really large and really small pot) and the utensils - the cutlery was in poor shape - but we made it work. When the stove ran out of fuel late in the day the manager offered us the alternative of using a kitchen in another unit but we declined because we had other options. The third floor also had a very nice communal area with lounge chairs and hammocks. We were on the first floor and had a shared patio type area outside, the upper floor rooms on the same side of the building had nice looking balconies. The only real con was the loud music from a near by nightclub on the weekend. Overall this was good value for the money.

I went here with two friends to scuba dive. Overall, the accommodations suited our needs, location close to dive shop and three beds. The location was great. It was really close to everything downtown. The staff and owners were very helpful and nice. The room itself was exactly as depicted on their website. I initially found this property in Airbnb. For the cost and location you really can’t beat this place! I give it 4 starts because my friends said their beds were very hard and uncomfortable. Pros: location, price, hummingbirds and hammocks Cons: hard beds, no pool/waterfront property (but is close to all this), jaguar nightclub has a loud base you can hear at night
