What a nice place with wonderful people. Ody is THE BEST. Breakfast was included and was good. Beaches are walkable (note the seaweed). More to see walking south. However, walking north is not bad. Several bars and restaurants to visit. The first day we walked over 7 miles. Renting a golf cart is advisable. Get one with large tires. The roads are “rough”.

We loved staying here. The set up was cozy and inviting with the 4 cabanas surrounding a soaking pool and the view out to the ocean. Rob was a gracious and accommodating host. All of the staff are courteous, friendly and a delight to engage with. The breakfasts definitely lived up to the hype as they were delicious. Nothing beats waking up to a gourmet breakfast outside your door in a relaxing environment. We met incredible people both staying there and locals who came over for the weekly wine, small bites and music on Thursday nights. The B&B is close to multiple options for dinners, a short drive to Secret Beach in one direction and San Pedro in the other. An overall wonderful place to stay!

We received a warm greeting from Rob the owner who showed us round our little home for our duration and explained how everything worked. The room was spotlessly clean with plenty of white fluffy towels and quality white bed linen. Breakfast was delicious and the menu changed daily. A very popular place for breakfast, and can get quite busy. We enjoyed sitting on our front deck watching the world go by. Rob gave us information on local restaurants and available trips and golf buggy hire. Nothing was too much trouble and he even gave us bug spray (which you definitely need). Great location right near the beach and not far to walk into town. We would definitely recommend this place.

During our five-day stay at Marbucks Bed and Breakfast, my fiancé and I had a decent experience but were disappointed with several aspects. The location of Marbucks is its strongest suit, as it is in the heart of everything, making it an ideal spot for those looking to explore the surrounding area (we found renting a golf cart essential). The warmth and friendliness of the staff also marked a high point. The major drawback of our stay was that we did not find Marbucks to be where we could hang out and spend time, which we intended to do there. It might cater well to those who prioritize a place merely to rest their heads but not to those who want a place to hang out during the day.
Contrary to the appealing images on their booking website, the pool area, which could have been an idyllic spot for relaxation, was largely inaccessible due to breakfast service sprawling from 7 AM to 1 PM, severely limiting our use of the outdoor area (the two lounge beds are put away and people are eating right in front of your room and around the pool area). We ended up going out every day to places like Moon Bar or buying a day pass at a resort to find what we were missing at Marbucks. Another letdown was the lack of a beach spot to relax, which was a bummer. Food-wise, we only really liked the french toast and veggie omelet. There are also discrepancies between advertised and actual services, such as the unfulfilled promise of daily housekeeping and room service, further contributing to our dissatisfaction (our room was not cleaned once during our five day stay). The cessation of food and drink services by early afternoon each day was a considerable inconvenience, as we would have liked to have been able to have drinks throughout the day. In the evening, there was a pervasive presence of a security guard, whose well-meaning vigilance, unfortunately, made us feel overly watched/listened to, which hindered our ability to enjoy the pool and sit on our balcony freely during night hours. We did not find the bed comfortable due to the stiff mattress and pillows. Lastly, the AC was leaking and the refrigerator did not get cold even when turned to the coldest setting.

What a wonderful experience for our first trip to Belize (definitely not our last!). We have enjoyed this stay so much that I felt compelled to write this while we are still here. The hospitality on the island is unparalleled, and Daydreamin' has exceeded all of our expectations. From the kindness of every single staff member, to the cleanliness of the rooms, we have enjoyed every moment. Rob has been an incredible resource for us, helping us to book tours and answering our many questions about how to best experience the area. We were the only guests at the property during most of our stay and we never once felt like service or care was sacrificed because of this. The security guard Jose was such a pleasure to chat with and although we have never had immediate safety concerns, was a great addition to the services provided. The daily breakfast was exceptional. The location is great! Right by the Truck Stop, and just a short golf cart drive from downtown San Pedro or a little longer one to Secret Beach. The pool is great for a morning dip to relax and read and soak in the sounds of nature around you. And, to top it off, the resident pooches gave me an opportunity to lend an ear scratch when I was missing my own back home. We will absolutely recommend this location to others and set it as our home base for our future visits to Ambergris Caye!

We were here right after getting engaged and it was a super romantic and relaxing choice for a couple! We both love the personal touch of B+B's and that is definitely what you get at DayDreamin. The included breakfasts were perhaps our favorite meals in San Pedro, and Jason truly went above and beyond by giving us a last second ride to the Belize Express boat when our own golf cart stalled out on a back road. We also love the north location which is slightly quieter, and makese Secret Beach a super close destination. We ended up going to Secret Beach on two separate days, which we might not have been able to do if we stayed at a more southern hotel.
Another highlight of DayDreamin (especially for my fiancee) was that there was a new kitten named Sox that had started to show up at the B+B and he loved my fiancee. He kept us company when we swam at the on-site pool and would sit on my fiancee's lap during breakfast. We are absolutely obsessed with him. The owners were taking good care of him and giving him lots of love as well, so hopefully you will get to meet him too! Please give him a pet for us! Thanks Daydreamin!

The property is beautiful and the service is impeccable. We are finishing up a week long stay at Daydreamin and have nothing but positive things to say. The location is great and the “hands on” owner and staff do an amazing job of making you feel right at home. I would recommend a stay to anyone visiting Ambergis Caye.

What a wonderful stay we just enjoyed at Rob and Mar's beautifully conceived vision of a private, quant and and gorgeous property that is Daydreamin' B&B and Marbucks Coffee House. Upon arrival Mar, who is such a warm and attentive host that made us feel welcomed and at home, offered us a cold beverage and took us through the details of our room before giving us several wonderful suggestions for dining and activities - The Truck Stop is super fun and convenient, the food and ambience at Stella's was amazing at sunset, yummy eats & great service at Rum Dog and we could not have been happier with our snorkeling excursion with Chuck and Robbie's. The room itself was not only beautiful but was spotlessly clean and comfortably cool. The bed and pillows are also very comfortable and the towels and bedding are of high quality...there is definitely a standard and no detail is too small for their guests. The coffee and breakfast each morning was absolutely delicious and selecting each meal and the time of service the day before is such a cool concept - the food was so good we woke up each day excited to eat, lol! My girlfriend and I truly enjoyed what was a special week at Daydreamin' and we will definitely be coming back! Thank you Mar and Rob!

Step 1 to enjoying your stay on Ambergris Caye is to stay somewhere that you feel comfortable.
My wife and I (both in our early 30's) booked Daydreamin B&B for seven nights for our honeymoon, and are really glad that we did. I'm writing this review after five days here, and what put it over the top for me was having breakfast by the pool today.
The ambience that Mar and Rob create here is really special. While I was enjoying a cappuccino and the last bites of my complimentary blueberry coconut pancakes, I was just taking stock of the atmosphere around Marbucks. It just feels great to be here. The service is EXCELLENT.
Also, "Wine Down" Thursdays are fun! There was a great guitar player named Alex Johnstone who came to play for it while we were here and my wife and I got to dancing.
Book it! You'll be glad that you did.

My wife and I were looking for a quaint little getaway and we certainly found a beautiful gem of a bed and breakfast boutique. Let me first shower Rob and Mar with a heartfelt “thank you.” Your welcoming spirit, your continual service and your commitment to excellence far exceeded our expectations; especially in a world where customer service is average at best.
The breakfasts each day were not simply visually appealing but equally delicious and we looked forward to new varieties every morning. Mar thank you so much.
Now Rob... never did we lack things to do as you constantly were available for suggestions and they were spot on! Conversations were always so pleasant and your assistance with excursions was greatly appreciated. Thank you
Together with your staff, Simon, Albert, Miguel, Rene, Katie and Maggie their service was so appreciated! You made our stay extremely enjoyable!
We can only ask that the Lord continually bless this little slice of heaven!

Thank you for your kind comments. It is always a pleasure to meet new guests and to be able to help them enjoy the island. Mar and I really love when we get great guests like you that are here for rest, relaxation and a little pampering. The highlight of our lives down here is to have great interaction with new friends from all over the world and hear about their adventures on Ambergris Caye.

Good morning David. I am the owner of this BnB and I'm interested to know to what photo you are referring. We are a five star property and if you read our reviews you will find that all of our guests had a comfortable experience. The beds in our cabanas are not old and are actually very expensive. (My partner and I sleep on the same bed in our home). We have taken great care in ensuring not just our mattresses, but our pillows and linens are of the highest quality.
