Went to the Plantation for lunch. Ordered Cajun shrimp Alfredo. Props to the chef, and waitress staff, Bridgett Nail and Revina Johnson they were very attentive, Thanks to Molly Johnson we received our food promptly by ordering ahead. Thank you for a great experience, Spring and Joseph. I will be back. Left overs.... Below
I eat dinner there every Tuesday. The food is great and the service is wonderful. Especially Rev and Harley top shelf. I have never had a bad meal there. I also like the golf course. The restaurant is quaint and very accommodating. I would recommend this place to anyone. Ask for Rev or Harley.
We loved this place!! What a pleasant, comfy, clean little mom and pop style place. The woman at the front desk was so helpful and kind. A welcome break from chain hotels. Nice, little restaurant and bar on property. We just needed a stopping place for the night and saw this place had great reviews and I can see why! Would 100% stay again if we are ever in the area.
Nice room but no micro, no fridge, no shower mat, no grab bar in shower, no breakfast, tiny soap, no fresh towels second day and some towels had holes in them, hangers wouldn’t stay on bar. Dinner was not much beyond Stouffers and overpriced for that region, no salad and no bread included. Loud electric guitar ten feet behind us very annoying. Never going back there.
If you're in the area, and want a great place to stay, this is it. The rooms are huge, clean, and quiet. The staff was friendly, and the new owners were friendly and very involved while we were there. The food at the restaurant was very good as well. I can't think of anything to complain a out.
Had my brothers wedding here. The owners were involved and were very accommodating. All the staff we encountered were helpful and friendly. We had young kids with us and they were welcomed, and looked out for by all.
Spent two nights again while on business in the area. Played golf twice and course was in superb condition. The room was clean as usual and the food was amazing at the inn restaurant. Great stay as always and will be back.
This is not a typical motel and is in a country club. There is an inn with lodging and then an L-shaped strip of rooms that resemble the motels typically found In the 1960s along the highways. They give you a key with a big fob and check-in is a bit slow. We stayed in the motel-type room. On the day we arrived we asked a number of questions about the area, the on-site restaurant, etc. and received few definitive answers. Mostly we were told “I am not sure.” And that “maybe there should be a book about the area since people ask this a lot.” The room itself was laid out a bit oddly. It had what appeared to be a king headboard with two double beds that had part of each bed positioned under the sides of it. The bathroom extended the length of the back wall with folding doors like you might find on a closet that did not lock or even close well. There was a large wooden cabinet at one end and the shower at the other. The space at cabinet was tight. The bottom of my socks picked up dirt from the carpet. There was a magazine in the room and toiletries. There was a coffeemaker with Maxwell House coffee packets and Folgers decaf packets. We left and got breakfast elsewhere but did eat at the inn restaurant. It was ok. The blueberry margarita was very weak.…
We have reserved rooms at The Blueberry Inn before, but this time was our last. First issue is the "continental breakfast". All that was provided was coffee, orange juice, NO WATER, cereal, and a packaged muffin. This inn is in the blueberry capital and it was Blueberry Festival weekend and all they can provide is a packaged muffin with cereal? Second issue is that both rooms were dirty. Within a very short time of being in the room barefoot, everyone's feet were black! I called to speak with a manager, but was only allowed to speak with the person answering the phone. I expressed my disappointment and the only response I got was they would look into the dirty rooms. After spending $500 for two rooms for the weekend, I think we should have received a better breakfast, clean rooms, and better customer service.…
My wife and I enjoyed two nights here while attending a wedding in Baxley. Initially we were hoping that it would live up to its price, and we were pleasantly surprised. The staff was extremely polite, and the room was very nice. The room was outfitted with hardwood floors, Stone bathroom, granite sink. I loved the bed but my wife preferred our own to the Inn’s. We walked around on the golf course, but we did not use it due to the short nature of our stay. The negative remarks are minor and few: The quality of the towels and a limited breakfast. We went to Huddle House in town (5 minutes away) for a great breakfast.
