Such a beautiful resort, lots to do and food was great. Not far from Disney or Tampa, a hidden gem! My son loved the activities, Gaga ball and other sports kept him busy. Pools were fun and they have a slide! Bar staff were great at what they do. They have a shop too, loads to buy in there!

We rented a cabin for 5 nights just to check out the location. the park is very well maintained and is actually very quiet considering the number of sites. the only disappointed I could say is that we rented an efficiency cabin and even though in the description it said full kitchen, it did not have a stove of any kind. I assumed full kitchen meant full kitchen. Be aware that if you want a stove, do not rent an efficiency cabin. If we come back next year, I will renting a different unit.

This was our second visit to Camp Margaritaville and will be our last. Our first visit in Oct 2022 with our grandchildren was soooo much fun. We rented a Cabana and were very happy with the cleanliness and supplies provided. There were alot of activities for the kids to participate in and while the pool was cold (I don't know why the heaters weren't on) the kids still swam and wore themselves out everyday we were there.
This trip was completely different. The kids couldn't find any group activities listed on the board. They were really stuck with the pool and putt putt which was disappointing for them compared to our last experience.
The cabana was definitely not up to the standard we expected. We were a group of 2 adults and 4 kids for 3 nights. Our cabana was supplied with 4 towels, the sheets & blanket for the queen size pull out sofa were for a twin bed, 1 roll of TP and 1 roll of paper towels, 2 DW pods. The Kuerig was broken. We called for more towels and the proper size sheets but they never arrived. We had to call again the next day.
And the floor, OMG, the floor was horrible. Our feet were black from walking barefoot inside. Just a trip from the shower to the bedroom and our feet were filthy. These floors are not being mopped at all.
I had to rewash all the dishes in the cabinets before using. They looked to have been rinsed, not washed, as there were oily rings on the plates, and they were put away wet.
I really feel like asking for a refund.
Sorry Camp Margaritaville Auburndale. But you've lost us as guests.

The camp ground is amazing! It’s more like a “Glamp-ground” we have been there multiple times and love it. The place is very clean everything is new. The sites are all level and have full hookups 30/50 amp electric with cable tv! This trip we had a pull through site that was a full concrete pad with a beautiful paver patio and picnic table. They have are building out their second phase now and I’m sure it will be just as great as the rest of the spaces. The prices are a little higher then what I usually like to pay 100$ a night is a bit much to park your RV, this is a busy time of year here in Florida so over 100$ a night is not uncommon. However they have a lot to offer. Very clean bathrooms and shower facilities, laundry facilities dog parks, dog wash area, they bring in food trucks at night to buy snacks or different types of food for a change of pace from cooking at the camper. They do rent golf carts and are in the process of building a big golf cart garage. They are also going to be selling propane so you won’t have to leave the campground to get it. They do have “cabins” that are tiny homes and they are absolutely beautiful. My friends mom stayed in one and it was a perfect little space for an average size family or couple to experience the “camping” lifestyle. Overall the place is amazing I wish the price was a little more affordable for those on a budget, but they do have a lot to offer, and they are in a good location to get to Orlando or Tampa within a hour.

This was a return visit for me to Camp Margaritaville in Auburndale Florida. The last time I stayed there, I was in a cabana with a friend. You wouldn’t believe how nice the cabanas are! Tasteful decor, wonderful mattress and bedding, and everything you need included. Each has its own cozy front porch to enjoy the views and weather around the campground. This visit, I came with my camper. The campsite was level, so I didn’t have to change a thing and the full hook ups were simple to use and in close proximity to my rig. The site was manicured to perfection. Everything is beautifully cared for at this campground.. Since I was here last, they have added restaurants on site. You must try the chicken wings and a barbecue loaded potato at the chill bar. There was entertainment all weekend and two large pools to enjoy and one kids pool that makes you want to be a kid again! The bath houses were cleaner than any I’ve seen! There’s a wonderful camp store and even dog parks and dog wash stations. They have done so much to this place just since I was there last. I didn’t play putt putt, but that was amazing and there’s even a giant waterfall next to the outdoor tiki bar. They have large fire pits with Adirondack chairs around them and games for all the family to enjoy, while you listen to the local artist entertain. It might be a little pricier than some campgrounds, but with all the amenities you don’t even need to leave the park!! Your family will have loads to entertain them!! I can’t wait to go back!! I also understand they are bringing quite a few Pickleball courts

With great regret and sadness, and something that I thought I would never have to do, but I feel the need to write a negative review on Camp Margaritaville.
We have been coming to Camp Margaritaville for the last four years as snow birds and were here as they opened their gates, then called Cabana Club. We called this place our second home.
Unfortunately, our stay this winter, I need to address some concerns. One, and most importantly, our granddaughter was visiting and during the kids’ activities on The Greens in the evening, the young worker sent our granddaughter back to her camper to get her wristband, which had fallen off earlier. When we returned with her back to The Greens, and confronted this worker, he indicated that he would always give kids a new wristband and write their site number on it. He indicated the day before, management told him do not do this anymore and they need to go get theirs. I believe the person in management, which made this decision, needs to be informed on the proper procedure and the possible dangers sending a child in the dark, back to their camper alone.
Secondly, each year Camp Margaritaville’s rates have increased, as to be expected, but rates for next year went up exceptionally more. We expressed our concern and were hopeful that loyal and dedicated returnees, with long term stays, would be offered some type of a discount. Unfortunately, nothing was offered. With this being said, another second home will be found.
Leaving on a high note, the grounds crew are totally amazing and keeps everything looking beautiful and clean. We have never seen such dedication and hard working men and women and the ground crew all deserve to be recognized and praised.

I'm deeply sorry to hear about your recent experience at Camp Margaritaville. We genuinely value the feedback of all our guests, especially long-standing ones like you. The safety and well-being of all our guests, particularly children, is our top priority. I sincerely apologize for the incident with your granddaughter. We will review our wristband policy, especially in situations where children might be asked to return to their campers alone. With regards to the rate increases, we understand your concerns. Our intent is to constantly improve our services and facilities, but we also acknowledge the importance of maintaining affordability for our loyal guests. Your comments on this matter will be taken into serious consideration. Despite these issues, I'm glad to know that our grounds crew made a positive impression. We hope that we may have the chance to welcome you back in the future if circumstances change. Thank you once again for your honest feedback. Camp Margaritaville Auburndale

We enjoyed our stay did the buddy sites which were very enjoyable. A tiki bar with a TV and sink were very helpful for us. The weather was cooler than we expected so it was nice to be able to rent a propane fire pit. The Con for us was you are paying a resort fee and still had to pay full price for drinks at the tiki bar, restaurants, some activities had extra charges, and even the popcorn you had to pay for.

When you enter the property you totally feel like you are entering a first class resort. The area available for pull in, check-in, un-hook towed vehicle is oversized and room for 20 more! Check in a breeze, giving you an itinerary of things to do and entertainment. Did I say it felt like a first class resort??? The sites were fantastic, the tiki and fire-pits were wonderful at night; place to snack and enjoy watching skiing, the bike trail no event 1/2 mile away. We had such a terrible time, we have already booked our next stay!

If I could give this resort 10 stars I would. Cabana Club is by far the best campground we have ever visited...EVER!!! The sites were level, paved, and beautifully landscaped. The roads are wide and we had a pull thru site that was incredibly easy to maneuver our rig into. The hookup area had a light which proved very helpful. We never really even strayed far from the campsite for fun because the kids were always playing gaga ball, enjoying the glow stick festivities, or hanging out at the pool and arcade. There were always other kids to keep our kids engaged and off their phones. The tiki bar was hopping all weekend and my 9 yr old daughter had a ball singing karaoke. I was very comfortable letting our kids ride their bikes all around the park, or just run free and enjoy themselves with their new friends. Our dog loved the dog park and I really loved the doggie spa. Washing our pup has never been easier with an elevated tub, shampoo and conditioner within arms reach, and a force dryer right next to a table. The store is clean, bright, and well stocked. The bathrooms are huge, clean, and quite frankly really beautiful. There are 2 really nice laundry facilities. Everyone we met there was super friendly and very helpful. Also be sure to check out Elite Cable Park right next door to the campground. My kids had a blast learning how to wakeboard and kneeboard. My son went 2 days in a row and on the second day, he actually did a jump on a ramp.

No hot tub, but Bay Lake RV Resort is nearby, and has both a heated pool and a hot tub but not much for kids to do. All the spots in Cabana Club are gravel, and awfully close together. Bay Lake rental spots are pavers with some surrounding landscaping.
