I am so disappointed in our stay as we are currently guests. The housekeeping - you should tell guests when booking that your sheets will not be changed and your room will not be cleaned during your stay. It’s so misleading and the fact that I have never been at a “resort” where you are charged $10 per chair and $10 per umbrella!! That’s insane considering you are paying $25 per day resort fee and $25 a day to park your car!! The worst part of this ... there is clearly signage all over, at the front entrance and the elevators that say MASK REQUIRED. Today, on 2 separate occasions, I was getting in the elevator with my husband. The first time, a group of 5 went to get in the elevator with us -NO MASKS!! I asked if they could wait because I am immune compromised. They respected me, with the rolling of the eyes but you have a sign right at the elevator that says mask required!! This afternoon, at the elevator and once again, a family wanted to get on the elevator and no masks. I asked them to put a mask on, I’m immune compromised. The husband starting yelling “did she tell you to put a mask on?”. I responded yes, I’m immune compromised with MS”. He continued to yell until the door closed. Either you put security or someone at the elevators who is not afraid to tell your guests that it says MASK REQUIRED!!! Practice what you preach!

Thank you for your feedback TrishD; We are sorry you were not advised that daily houskeeping service is suspended due to COVID and that requests for service are granted. The fees are fully disclosed on our website and also upon the check in process. We provide complimentary masks to guests upon arrival if requested and our team is trained to politely ask everyone to wear them while indoors. We appreciate your stay.

We had a fantastic time our first time here and are back for a second trip. This time we are informed the morning after we check in there will not be any cleaning of the rooms to “keep us safe”. What a crock. No one mentioned this when we made the rez, checked in or paid the normal rate. They are blatantly using covid to cut their costs, cut their workers hours and piss everyone off. We are at the beach with three rooms and a bunch of kids so you know that means wet clothes, lots of towels and sand everywhere. We need new sheets and vacuuming - I always leave a tip for the cleaning crew and heck I would pay extra to get my rooms cleaned but it’s not an option because some genius decided to save money. Well it will cost them. We will be going to Amelia island from now on. Wonder what else we will find tacked onto our bill and what other services will be denied over the coming days?

I’ve stayed a number of times in the past, and have enjoyed the room decor, services, beach access and proximity to restaurants and shops. I stayed for a night this week, and had concerns about their COVID efforts - there were no restrictions on numbers in the elevators or use of masks in the elevators. Each time I was on the elevator, there were others on without masks. Also, they are still charging a $25 “resort fee,” regardless of whether you valet park or not. They do not have room service, daily housekeeping, or stocked snacks/mini-fridges at this time. Just an FYI.

I have previously stayed at this location in December of 2019 with a much better experience. However, this stay has left much to be desired. The location, service (Given current conditions), and general aura is still operating as well as ever. However, this current stay was unpleasant. The initial room we stayed in experienced a consistent thudding that would resonate through the wall in the evening and throughout the night and into the morning. We requested a new room which was provided. Like clockwork, the next room provided made no change. I'm unsure if it's poor engineering, or design, or if something had changed. However, I did not have the "pleasure" of listening to a knock on the wall for over eight hours previously. Perhaps it is just the sixth floor. Perhaps the second floor is the only location that doesnt met out such punishment. Either way, the stay has made a laasting impression. If you want quality sleep, stay somewhere else. The drive is well worth proper rest. Likewise, as other reviews have noted, this isn't a quiet location. You door will simply be a barrier between your room and the hallway - not an insulator of noise. Nothing changed there between the two stays, nor did I truly expect it to.

I had to cancel my reservation due to Covid-19 and have been waiting over 3 weeks for a refund on the deposit. I cancelled 2 hours after I'd booked. This is ridiculous! I doubt I'll ever book there in the future. Very disappointed! Plus they charge $25.00 a day for parking. and fail to mention this when you book.
