This was our fourth trip to Wekiwa Springs State Park. It was as beautiful as ever. The wildlife was awesome. We saw over two dozen deer on early morning rides and just before dusk. Saw a family of wild turkeys with lots of little ones. We even saw the Fox Squirrel this trip! Couldn't believe how big they are! The... More

Very refreshing to swim in the cold wekiwa springs lake. We rented a canoe for $20 for 2 hours. Which I believe is run by private company. A ranger told me we can rent a canoe/kayak/paddle board from park services, just put $2 a pax in an envelope. It's right before you get to the private rental spot. Beautiful clear... More

Large full hook up sites with 30 amp. Went to the springs swimming and canoed. Had a wonderful time. Friendly and helpful campground hosts and Rangers. Gets VERY busy on the weekend. The only negative is that there is no designated entrance for those staying at the campground. If you leave in your tow car on the weekend, be prepared... More

Kinda boring. Not what we expected. I probably won't be back again. We paid $6 to get in. Bathrooms were filthy. There is a 2 mile trail that leads to the lake. Not worth the walk. Didn't really like the scenery.

We stayed at campsite 4 with our 38' RV. Plenty of room for our 3 slides. 30 amp electricity and water, no sewer at this site. There was a dump, so no problem. A few sites seemed to have sewer hookups. Very clean restrooms. Total feel of nature, yet close to many restaurants, some even deliver to the campsites. Springs... More

We have been camping here for a couple of years usually in mid-January. Sites fill quickly even this time of year so book 10-11 months in advance. Rangers are helpful and keep bathrooms spotless. Sewer hookups at some sites makes week-long stays very easy.

Very nice park and campground. Close to "civilization ", but feels miles away. Quiet and uncrowded. Hiking is great, lots of places for bike rides. Campground is 30 amp, has water at all sites and sewer at many sites. Also a dump station. Each spot has a fire pit. Sites are wide, with trees. No problem with slides. We camped... More

We clamped here with a group of friends - I never knew this park existed and have been in Florida all my life! The park offers camping - everything from primitive to large RVs with full hook up. Swimming at natural springs, kayaking, nature trails, picnic areas, wild life info centers -- we were impressed and will definitely be back!

It's a beautiful thing and so close to home (if you live in Central FL). We spent 3 nights at the campground Fall 2014. They advertise bears but we never saw a one! It's a great place to canoe or kayak doing Rock Springs Run or for something shorter between the State Park and Wekiwa Island. Only problem is the... More

If you want to try and beat the summer heat and don't mind a lot of people, this is the place for you. If you are looking for a place to swim that isn't chlorinated and is outdoors, this might be the place for you. However, if you are searching for a true Florida natural spring experience, try Blue Spring... More
