Very gracious welcome when we arrived! The room was clean and spacious. We would stay here again!
My husband made us waffles for breakfast and they were great. We stay at Hamptons often. Some are great and some are fine. This is definitely in the “very good “ category!

Made a last minute reservation at the hotel. The guy at the front desk when we checked in was really nice & helpful. The room was clean & the bed was comfortable. This wasn’t a planned trip so I didn’t pack any toiletries so I had to go down to the front desk in the morning to ask for a toothbrush, tooth paste, a comb & makeup remover towelette. The woman at the desk obliged but kind of seemed annoyed with me. Overall, we had a good stay.

I last stayed here in 2011 and I will stay here again if I need to overnight in the Apopka area again. Overall my experience was positive, but twice I tried to get an early check-in and both times felt like I was inconveniencing the person on the other end of the phone by asking. I didn't get the early check-in, either, but I know they were busy this weekend. Still, I walked away with a slightly negative feeling about the exchanges I had.
The room itself was fine. Good strong WiFi signal, clean bathroom, clean beds, clean chair for the desk. Had no complaints about my room at all. Good, standard Hampton Inn room.
Breakfast was a cheese omelet with breakfast sausage patties. The rest of the breakfast fare was the usual breads and waffles. I always appreciate the hot breakfasts at Hampton Inns.
Service was fast and friendly at the front desk, and all the staff I encountered in the halls gave a friendly greeting. It felt like they wanted to be there and be serving the guests.
There are a lot of storage boxes scattered around the property. I couldn't tell if they were renovating the hotel or simply needed a lot of storage. These boxes detracted from the aesthetics of the property, but didn't affect our stay at all. Neither a positive nor a negative, just an oddity that I noticed.
I recommend this hotel property to anyone wanting a place to stay in the Apopka area.

This Hampton Inn in Apopka is Independently owned and operated, and I will share – Buyer Beware! I travel a lot for work, and I’m loyal to the Hilton brands. We have an upcoming meeting near this hotel, and I picked this location for out of area employees to book. Our meeting starts March 6th, and one employee in Atlanta accidentally selected Feb 6th, the day he was making the reservation, as his arrival date but realized his mistake within 2 hours of making the reservation. Within 2 hours of booking, he called the hotel directly, explained his mistake, and asked if they would help move his reservation to the correct date of March 6th. They said they would cancel it, but would also charge him the $157. Cancellation fee and he could make another reservation for March 6th. There were no Managers there, so he called the next day and explained the mix-up to the Manager, Kamal. Kamal said he needed to charge that penalty since “they were not able to use that room”. He asked Kamal if they had been fully booked and Kamal confirmed that they were not fully booked, so it is still not clear what impact this two-hour reservation had on their business? We escalated through Hilton Corporate, but because this property is independently owned and operated, they sent the escalation back to that location, which wound up again with Kamal. He was still not professional and still not helpful. Now I’m in the middle of figuring out a new hotel option for the nine of us that have booked so far and will then have to have each of them cancel this hotel and rebook at a new one. I just don’t understand how Kamal gaining that $157. penalty for an innocent mistake and providing a terrible customer experience makes a sound business decision for his company? Especially since he was made aware they will now be losing nine other confirmed reservations for March 6th as a result. I will remain loyal to Hilton as I have never had an experience like this at any of their other properties, they typically excel in customer service. This location is the exception.

Dear V7655Uljudym, Thanks a lot for sharing your experience online and we appreciate you been a loyal Hilton customer. I will definitely found out more info from our Assistant General Manager Kamal to figure out exactly what had happened. We do not that Hotel has a strict policy with confirmed reservations but there are always ways to work with guests especially when it comes to reservations mistakenly booked for the wrong date! I would like to request you to call me directly here at the Hotel to discuss the matter further! Once again, thanks for sharing your experience and please feel free to call me directly at the Hotel! Hope to speak with you soon! Regards,

We were able to check in early which was appreciated, but did not get a parking pass for the car(thankfully we saw it in other cars) and certainly not recognized as Diamond members. The studio type room was spacious, clean and comfortable. With a different arrangement there would be room for a chair in addition to the sofa, as it's a large room. A full hot breakfast is provided, which is very good. But the breakfast attendant does not clean or tidy up nor restock where needed(this was 8am). This Inn could be better with just a bit of attention to the little things.

Room that we selected on check in via app was not available when we checked in just before 3pm.
Key to side door near parking lot, door lock was broken and would not work.
Our friends went to sit by the pool and got fiberglass all over her from disintegrating lounge chairs. When she reported them, she was assured that they would take the chairs away. They did, but were right back out the next day.
Finally, the worst thing was the bedding was not changed before we arrived. It was just made to look like it was. Pillows smelled and there was blood on one of them. 11:45pm I called and told them I needed 4 new pillows and front desk said “why do you need 4 new pillows? It was only on one.” After I insisted and then being on hold for close to 10 minutes he came back and said he could only find 2. I told him I would change pillow cases on the others. Another 10 minutes passed and he brings them up without so much as an apology. Very disappointed in this experience. Every other Hampton Inn I have stayed at has been pleasant. This one no apology or effort to make a disgusting thing better.

We accommodate many guests each day and strive to create a grand experience for all and consequently it’s disappointing to learn you were unhappy. Great staff, clean spacous room. While I didn't spend any time in the pool I did see it was maintained and working as I saw others using it. The location seems okay but when you see graffiti on the sign next to the hotel it makes you wonder. The staff also had use put a parking pass in the window which made me wonder a bit about what problems the area might have to warrent needing that.
Overall I was satisified with the stay and can't say enough good things about the staff.

So we decided to stay here for one night as we were going to kings landing in the morning. We had our paddleboards with us and asked the hotel to help us store them and they declined. We asked if we could use the meeting room, happy to pay for it, but they said “no, they weren’t sure if they had a meeting the next day…” they had 6 rooms check in.. shocker there was no meeting. We had to lug our paddle boards to the second floor.
What’s disappointing is the front desk girl Sadie, informed me there were 6 whole checkins for the entire day… and they wouldn’t even consider taking more money to store paddleboards in an unused room.
There’s no manager there overnight so you know, that’s wonderful. Our room had no conditioner or shampoo. The pool was apparently “broken” but they can’t quite communicate that you can still access the pool at the holiday inn.. as they own both properties. The staff there at night is definitely not the “A” crowd. I don’t feel safe there I wouldn’t stay here or the holiday in. Considering there’s no night managers you’re not getting anyone who cares. Why are you paying a premium. Go somewhere else. But avoid the hotel next door it’s owned by the same company. Give your money to Marriott

We had a family funeral in FL and a few of us stayed at Hampton Inn and a few at Holiday Inn Express next door. Hampton Inn was way nicer and cheaper, and staff was so friendly and helpful. I asked if they could put my parents as well as my sister’s family in close proximity to each other (which they did) and they were quick to get us a crib we requested at check in. Hotel room was nice and clean, every staff person we encountered greeted us snd asked if we needed anything. Wonderful experience.

16 minutes exactly! 👍😊
We were in a suite. Our room had 2 beds, a desk, desk chair, an upholstered sofa (which opened to a bed), and an upholstered chair and ottoman. There were 4 of us and it was nice having the extra space.
I think they only accept service dogs...but the test for a "service dog" doesn't seem very rigid.
