I will attempt to write about the questions that I had prior to going. You are staying over a shop, in a business district, It is an end unit (218). You do have 2 balconies on the front and side. Both of them are facing streets, you will have road noise.Another reviewer mentioned a daycare, yes it is on the side street facing the unit, and you can sometimes hear children screaming during outdoor play time. The accommodations are very well done as shown in the pictures with quality furnishings and appliances. The layout is great and the outdoor private pool is nice and has rooms to store bikes if you rent. they also have beach chairs, umbrellas etc. There are a few area of improvement. It appears that it is time for a "freshen up" as I found the furniture a bit dirty and the walls marked up, a missing picture on the wall, etc. The mattress in the master was lacking a mattress pad so the sheets are covering a foam pad with no top cover. The mattress had visible indents where people sleep .There are nice hand rails on both the front and rear stair sets, although the rear set is missing the handrail (it would be useful). If you like your privacy, there are no window coverings in the living/dinning area and lots of windows, people on the road can see you. The blinds in the bedroom are light and not room darkening so the street lighting kept me up. The first night we were woken every couple of hours by loud talking people walking by, moped, motorcycle and car traffic (it was "off season"). I feel that the cleaning people could do a better job, as I did find a large dead palmetto bug (looks like large roach) in the dinning area when we arrived, dark hand prints on the doors, dirty silverware and the stove top wasn't clean. The floors are beautiful aged wood, although if people are walking in the unit while you are sleeping, you will likely hear them. The rental company was very friendly. The rules for the rental are clearly marked such as keeping people and pet noise at a minimum for downstairs shop owner, and clean up guidelines to avoid additional charges such as: striping beds and towels and placing them in basin, cleaning all dishes and putting them away prior( perhaps why we had dirty silverware), leaving and taking out all trash, bagged. If you have AT and T cell service, there was no service what so ever in the unit, there is free Wi Fi.…
My wife and I stayed in the Anna Maria guest house 306 for our wedding weekend. We absolutely loved it. It was very spacious and super clean. The best part of all was having our own personal swimming pool in the backyard. The unit itself is a spacious 3 bed/2 bath condo above a local business on Pine Ave. There is a huge kitchen as well as a living room area. There are two huge balconies, one in front and one in the back. Both bathrooms are super spacious. The master bath has a large bathtub and shower. My only complaint would be parking. They only allow one car per unit in Pine, so if you have multiple cars, you will have to use the overflow parking. Overall, definitely worth the price and would do it again.
We rented the # 315 - right above the rental office - and had a great time! The apartment is situated above the rental office with entrance from the garden on te backside. Well sized with large master bedroom with ensuite bathroom, and 2 bedrooms sharing a second bathroom. All well sized and decorated. Big open plan kitchen, dining and livingroom and 2 terraces one overlooking Pine Avenue and one the garden with the private pool. The apartment is well designed, decorated and laid out - we where very happy with the place. Perfect location with 10min walk to the beach - either side. Gulf or Bay. And 2 blocks from the general store, donut shop and in the middle of all the small stores. Afternoon time the place became busy, as people where shocking in - hence parking space initially made for residence only where always occupied by others. On the downside - the place is not "soundproof" so come morning time one could hear the phone ringing from the office downstairs, "loud" enough for me to get up starting to look for the phone... Also the 2 guest bedrooms, has the A/C generator situated right the other side of the outer wall, which at times when we had some minor issue with regulation. Became an irritating noise source for the ones sleeping there as it turned it self on and off at all time. The pool area is great, also having a barbecue and some beach accessories and toys. This also goes for the company managing the properties and rental. Good service, respons and friendly professional people. However: All in all - a really nice place with a superb location. As we love Anna Maria, and will come back, we do also consider renting this place again. Or another place from the company. Both property and company comes highly recommended from us.…
We stayed 1 week at guesthouse 315 and it was great! The house was really nice and kitchen, dining area, living room and bathroom were all very spacious and luxury. We really enjoyed our stay here. Best location on the Island! The beach just 5 minutes one way and the pier 5 minutes the next way. The pool was great size and warm and nice and sun all day. We can really recommend this stay!
My husband and I intended to stay on Anna Marie Island for only three days, when we arrived we fell in love with the island and turned up at Anna Marie Island Rentals on Pine Ave and hired the vacation home Pine 218 for 7 days at a good price, September being the low season. It was really modern, exceptionally clean, really comfortable beds, great linens and fluffy towels. Washer/dryer new and very good, the kitchen and diner were very well equipped and better than my home! The balconies both front and back were lovely and had very comfortable furniture. The private pool was small but lovely and has full sun all afternoon. I really can't find a fault, the whole experience was awesome!
