When I made reservation they said the rooms facing street could be noisy but I thought it can’t be that bad. It was! Luckily they had another room for me to move to for the remainder of my stay. In my second room on the third floor the corner window faced main and you could hear traffic but not as bad. Also the two rooms I stayed in did not have a side table (from the pictures it looks like the other rooms have them). Had to put phone, drinks etc on floor…weird. But, with that said, it was a great place. SUPER friendly staff, comfy bed, great water pressure, bus stop right on the corner for Maroon Bells visit, just blocks from downtown, free parking and breakfast. One more note, if you park on street there is one spot on the corner you can’t park and it’s not clearly defined. Ask which one it is because I got a $50 ticket :(

Property's Favorite Review
My husband and I booked the Annabelle Inn for our first ever trip to Aspen. Upon arrival, I was in awe of how cute and quaint it looked from the outside. Check in was easy and informative and the front desk gals were so welcoming. We were handed a bag with waters and fresh cookies too. Parking is a bit confusing with all of the signs but it's free parking on the streets (not main street) and you don't have to move your car if you park after 4pm until 10am the next morning. When we entered our room, we were pleased to have a corner room by the hot tub with a cute balcony on the 2nd floor. We enjoyed a happy hour on the balcony as well as our breakfast the next morning. The bed was plenty comfortable and the room was small but the perfect size for the 2 of us just staying 1 night. Breakfast the next day was simple - a cold continental breakfast and we had pre-ordered our hot items at check in. Like I said, we took it back to our room and ate it on our balcony with our coffee. Check out was easy. It is an easy walk to downtown and it felt safe as well. We have already recommended this place to our friends and family who might visit Aspen! Thanks for a great stay!

We have been coming to Aspen for nearly 40 years, staying at various places, but we had never stayed at the Annabelle Inn before. I called the hotel directly to book a room and casually mentioned that we wanted to see the fall foliage and celebrate my husband's birthday. When we arrived at the hotel, we were pleasantly surprised to find a bottle of Prosecco in an ice bucket with a note wishing my husband a happy birthday. We also received bottled water and chocolate chip cookies when we checked in. The outstanding feature to us of the Annabelle was the caring and attentive staff. Everyone whom we contacted provided excellent customer service. At the time we visited, Pitkin County (where Aspen is located) had a strict mask requirement in any indoor public space. The Annabelle enforced this and we appreciated it. Breakfast was provided in a cozy dining area off of the lobby. We were given a choice in advance of a hot breakfast item - either a meat or vegetarian burrito or a sausage sandwich. There was also a buffet of cold items: cereal, cheese, muffins, juice, etc. Coffee and hot water was available in the lobby area throughout the day. We thought that the prices for the rooms were reasonable, especially for Aspen. Free parking is also a plus. The location is within walking distance of downtown restaurants and shops and close to the Aspen Music Festival Benedict tent. We were disappointed that there was no refrigerator in the room, but we did use the Keurig coffee maker.

We were in Rocky Mountain NP but decided to check out Maroon Bells last minute. Booked this hotel because they offer free parking and is located right next to a shuttle stop that takes us to Highland Resort where we board the shuttle to the bells. We weren’t expecting anything amazing initially but was pleasantly surprised by hospitality from the owners. Since we had to catch the shuttle before they started serving breakfast, owner left us a cooler with breakfast items of our choice. We came back from the bells after their check-out time, soaked and cold, and was offered hot water, coffee, and heated breakfast burrito and sandwich. It just felt so nice. On top of the hospitality, our room was clean and stylish, beds were comfy, complimentary lotion smelled nice, and the lack of microwave/fridge did not bother us at all. Would definitely come back if we’re in town again.
