This hotel is incredibly great, located in a very central area in Aspen. Very clean, helpful staff, great amenities and rooms. We didn't have any issue and are already planning our return. It's not on the cheap side, but worth the money.

This trip was the first 5-star experience that my wife and I have ever had and it did not disappoint. The staff, food, and accommodations at The Little Nell was top notch and made our trip very memorable.

My stay at The Little Nell was a hotel experience above any I have had in decades. I stay in decent quality hotels for frequent business travel (this was personal travel) and they do not compare to The Little Nell. The size and features of my room, the bathroom, the fitness center, the hotel dining and common areas, were all light-years above those of any hotel I've stayed in over the past 25 years. The staff were all very friendly and responsive, especially the Concierge, parking and housekeeping staff (I didn't deal much with other hotel staff during my stay). A stay at the The Little Nell may cost a little bit more than other hotels (but all hotels in Aspen are more expensive than in non-resort areas - this town is up in the mountains after all), but if you visit Aspen for any reason, you should try this hotel. It was well worth the price, and you'll remember staying at The Little Nell.

We stayed at The Little Nell over the weekend the last part of October. I must say I felt completely spoiled by the concierge team from my initial booking. We usually use a travel agent but there is no need for that here. They reached out immediately to welcome us and offered help with reservations and activities in the area. This was more than helpful given it was shoulder season and many things were closed. We arrived on a Friday afternoon. The transportation team was like a well oiled machine. We arrived and had 2 other cars in front of us however they didn’t miss a beat. They welcomed us, escorted us out of our car and our bags were delivered promptly. To our delight our room was waiting for us. The front desk made check in seamless and fast. They did reach out by text and offered a digital key which I accepted however it never showed up on the app. I’m not sure if this was a user error or the fault of the front desk but that would had been a nice touch if it worked properly. The hotel itself is lovely and modern. Our room 19 was cozy and just perfect for a couple. It does face the W hotel which can have some noise in the evening but it was never bothersome to us. The electric fireplace was amazing. It was so nice to curl up with a book and read while the husband watched TV. The closet is ample size and comes stocked with a humidifier. I’m especially grateful they were able to accommodate with hypoallergenic pillows. The entry comes with a mud like room for coats hats gear etc. This was extremely thoughtful. The bathroom shower water pressure is perfect and the bath tub was just the right size. Unfortunately I did end up having to check a few work emails but the WiFi was fast and reliable . We really enjoyed all aspects of the room right down to the wool carpets and complimentary local paper delivered each morning! We ordered room service our first night. We both had the chicken and I have to say it exceeded my expectations. Honestly I haven’t had much luck with room service at other places so my expectations were low but The Little Nell hit a home run! The mini bar and complimentary snacks are just another way this hotel really does think of everything. We did have a strange call about leaving a dog bowl and then two knocks on the door regarding the same dog bowl right after we had just gotten to sleep for the night.. They apparently got our room mixed up with someone else. We went horseback riding on Saturday and hiking on Sunday. When we asked for directions to the Hunter Creek trailhead the gentleman (sorry his name escapes me) at the concierge recommended transportation drive us given it’s a little tricky to find. We were hesitant at first but I’m glad we did let them take us. He was right…so tricky ! He even made us complimentary hot tea for the road. I thought that was just so thoughtful and nice . He really made our experience that much better and we are still talking about how thoughtful that little gesture was to us! Our driver both ways was courteous, polite and both were great conversationalist. They were prompt picking us up and we didn’t wait more than 10 minutes for a ride. I desperately wanted to try the hot chocolate since I’ve heard it was pretty amazing but when I went to inquire at the bar I was basically told I couldn’t take it up to my room because of the saucer it was served on was too hard to manage. An odd excuse for sure so I decided against ordering...The check out was just as easy as the check in and they charged my credit card overnight which I found very convenient. The transportation team was once again ready with our car as promised and even offered to sanitize it the night before… again above and beyond my expectations. I highly recommend a stay at The Little Nell. They really did make a good impression overall and I won’t hesitate to tell anyone to spend a few days here. Thank you to all the staff who made our time there delightful. We can’t wait to return!
