Enjoyed my first trip to Aspen and the staff at the Little Nell was a huge part of that! They truly take care of you from booking until dropping you off at the airport to head home. Their attention to detail throughout the experience is unmatched! Cannot wait to return to this beautiful property in the heart of Aspen.
I am compelled to give a review of our stay at The Little Nell in Aspen. It exceeded our expectations in every way. The property was beautiful and the staff truly superlative. Our room was terrific, we wanted for nothing. The meals were delicious and service was wonderful. The quality of EVERYTHING was beyond compare from the snacks to the liquor, the toiletries…everything was first class. Thank you Little Nell for making this wedding guest feel special. A luxurious and decadent experience.
We have stayed here 4 times now and every time it's just the most warm and memorable experience. The food is world class, I mean so thoughtful and tasty to the next level. We at dinner at Element 47 and Ajax. The burger at Ajax Tavern is perfection! the Skiiing is great...we always go the first few weeks and last week of the season and mostly ski blue runs. The gondola is great so you don't get too cold! the staff is perfect and thoughtful. They kept my private sheets for 2 years and had them on my bed. Who remembers to do that? the ski concierge put on and take off your boots and grab your skiis andn it's such a nice touch! We forgot our skiis bag and they overnighted them to us for free. This is a world class hotel and it's right at the base of Aspen Mountain and staff is friendly and fun! You are staying at a 5 star hotel but it feels like a friends house. It's hard to explain! It's perfect!!!!!!!!!!! …
Cons 1_Toilet had several urin stains upon arrival and when I called front desk to report, she started arguing with me that it is not possible? I have pictures and no 5 star hotel would debate with hotel guests who's urine is it, they would just send staff to clean. Manager offered free massage to make up for it, I declined. I need a clean room not free stuff. 2_ Sink was clogged upon arrival, engineers had to spend 30 minutes unclogging it. 3_ Room service food is terrible, chicken soup had 2 peices of chicken the rest was all noodles. 4_ Shuttle to snowmass goes only till 10 AM, anytime after it's $120 and only on the hour till 10 and pick up is only till 2 and again on the hour or else you have to pay another $120. Misleading, Concierge said no need for rental. Save yourself a ton of money and rent from Turo for $90/ day instead of all these $120. 5_ We got very sick a week before our trip and hotel refused to work with us and change our stay date. All 5 star hotels like four season seasons, Fairmont, pelican hill, montage,... always work with customer. 2 of our party ended up staying in our room the entire sta. Pros 1_ Leah at Concierge and some of the staff were very nice. …
The Little Nell is among the best hotels we have visited. The reason are service, which is entirely seamless, every person we encountered made us feel welcomed and valued at the hotel. We were treated royally. The hotel remembered our anniversary; upgraded our room to a beautiful suite; offered help at every turn and in short, exceeded all expectations. The Little Nell is the definition of a true luxury hotel.
This is a hotel that intends to provide exceptional service in a genuine, thoughtful and meaningful way. They succeed at every turn. Each staff member is warm and welcoming and they make every effort to ensure that you have a perfect visit and are just really fun. The room itself has the best pillows and most comfortable mattresses ever - my personal bit of heaven. The Little Nell made a short getaway from Denver feel like a full-on vacation.
By far one of the most luxurious hotels I’ve had the pleasure to visit. The staff is amazing, attentive, intuitive, and frankly just some great folks. The room was fantastic, faced the city and afforded fantastic people watching from the balcony. Through the highlight was watching the sunrise paint the mountain across the way. I highly suggest the cocktails, zodiac themed and very well executed, best enjoyed by the pool, but that’s just like my opinion man. The room itself was very well appointed. The best review I can give is that I’m the type of person who doesn’t sleep when I’m in new places, we had one night here, I slept like a baby. My only regret is that I couldn’t stay longer. Perhaps one day I will manage to return when there is snow.
We stayed at the hotel in the best time of the year to visit Aspen: early fall. Calm streets, no stressed people, wonderful biking, foliage, mild temperatures, few see to be seen type of crowd, etc. And the best place to stay and match this great atmosphere is definitely The Little Nell.
They had a great breakfast buffet. The rooms were amazing! The staff was nice. Great service. Perfect for skiing. Very clean. Turndown service every night. The Little Nell is an Absolute classic. Definitely recommend it.
We have visited Aspen before but this was the first time we have stayed at the Little Nell, arguably the finest hotel in this tourist mecca. For openers, it is the only five-star, five-Diamond hotel in Aspen. After our stay, my wife and I can understand why. Located at 675 East Durant Avenue, adjacent to the Aspen Ski Resort, this ski-in, ski-out hotel with magnificent mountain views opened in 1989 and was completely renovated in 2017. You get Aspen at the front door and Aspen Mountain at the back door. The Little Nell offers 92 guest rooms with Mountain Side and Town Side views, two restaurants, three bars, a concierge, fitness center, outdoor pool, spa, outdoor hot tub and 24-hour room service. We booked a Premium Guest Room with 660-square-feet, a view of Aspen Mountain, Red Mountain and the Continental Divide, king-sized bed, gas log fireplace, private balcony, vaulted ceiling, fully stocked refreshment bar, flat screen LED HDTV, shower and separate soaking tub and high speed wireless internet. The Little Nell comes with some interesting history. It once was the summer hunting ground of the Ute Indians and later was a miner's retreat, a railroad stop and depot, a grassy pasture for Aspen Dairy and a ski lift. Staying at the Little Nell is the next best thing to striking gold.…
