For the price we paid for this hotel I can see a couple of advantages. Underground parking is a bonus in this town. The location of the hotel is spectacular! The check in time is 4 PM and check out is noon.....not very many hours for an $800 room! For some reason we got a handicap room which is ok....but seems odd. I sure saw a lot of other folks who could have used it....we did not. The bed was pretty soft, the bathroom was lovely, the view of the park ok...really not that special....we did not need the microwave, refrigerator, and other kitchenette items. I suppose the fireplace would be lovely in the winter. Front desk staff was okay...lots of folks checking in and getting keys while we waited. Melissa in the bar was a gem very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great...tons of good food. Maybe not enough tables for as many guests as were present. And we had very lukewarm water in the shower. When we mentioned that....they seemed aware of this...but offered no compensation etc. would I return.....maybe.....but probably not.

Dear SageGirl2015 Thank you for taking the time to write a review about your recent stay at the Limelight Aspen. It seems as though you really enjoyed all aspects of the hotel and the services that we provide. Yet, I can see your points about the handicap room. We care what our guests have to say and we try to accommodate everyone’s preference as best as possible. We wish we had the opportunity to find a better location of guest room for you as you did not enjoy the park view. You stayed in one of our luxury rooms which are very desirable for most guests. Further thank you for highlighting our wonderful team members like Melissa. We are very much proud of the people who work with us and I could not be happier for us to have Melissa on our team. Social media opens the door for feedback but unfortunately we did not get the chance to speak in person. I would be more than happy to speak with you in greater depth regarding your stay. Feel free to reach out to me directly, my contact information is below. It is my hope that you will afford us another opportunity and visit us again. Kind regards, Henning Rahm | General Manager (w) 970.925.5802 (e) hrahm@limelighthotels.com

We spent three nights at Limelight. The first night there was so much noise from the hallway and HVAC unit (all night) we asked to be moved to a different room. The room we were moved to was no better. The AC/cooling system does not cool the rooms to the set temperature. This property is not worth the fees, and we will not stay here again.

Dear Neal N, We appreciate your recent review and thank you for taking the time to leave your comments. I apologize for the inconvenience we caused by not providing you with the room quality you expect and deserve. It delights me to read that the team took the initiative to move you to a different room but yet you were not satisfied with this option. I am usually very proud of the service that we provide, but it sounds like we missed our mark and did not meet your expectations doing your stay. I would be more than happy to speak with you in greater depth regarding your stay. It would be greatly important to me if you would reach out to me directly, my contact information is below. If you ever find yourself back in the area, and we are lucky enough to have you try us again, please reach out to me directly. I am confident we can book you into a more appropriate accommodation and provide the impeccable service we have come to be known for. Again, thank you for your feedback. Kind regards, Henning Rahm General Manager (w) 970.925.5802 (e) hrahm@limelighthotels.com

This place is worth the price. Great staff. Great accommodations and breakfast. Front desk in particular was fantastic. Sadly, I can only remember one person’s name - Greg. He and the others there were so kind and helpful. Had a great stay

The Limelight is a terrific place to stay if you’re visiting the Aspen/Snowmass area. Rooms are spacious and clean, and the staff is incredibly friendly. The free breakfast buffet in the morning is incredible, with enough healthy and unhealthy options to satisfy anyone. Buses make it easy and convenient to get to downtown Aspen and the nearby hiking trails.
