Dear Ms. D’Ette Craig, Thank you for taking the time to talk with me by phone to review the concerns you experienced while being our guest at the Aspen Meadows Resort. As I shared, the property is definitely unique with our historical design created by Hebert Bayer, a renowned architect of the Bauhaus Design School. He moved to Aspen in the early 1950s to work with the property owner, the Aspen Institute, a non-partisan non-profit that was founded here in Aspen to bring people together to work on solving the many challenges the world faced then, and the many issues that still remain today. Leaders whose professions include education, government, and industry regularly join events that the Aspen Institute holds annually. I was pleased to hear that your experience at Plato’s Restaurant was enjoyable and that Lance was very helpful; our highest mission is to deliver on all our guest expectations. Rest assured, our Director of Guest Services will continue to work with all staff members to ensure that all guest interactions are professional. As I mentioned during our call, if there is anything I can do in the future to assist you or your family, please let me know. I appreciate you confirming that you are pleased to learn you are pleased with the resolution I have provided. For now, wishing you and your family a very Happy & Safe New Year! Kind Regards, Jud Hawk | General Manager

Hotel's Favorite
My friends and I stayed for 9 nights over Christmas and New Years and we had such a great time! Aspen Meadows is a fantastic hotel with really spacious suites. The space made a big difference, especially with all the ski gear we had. Located just a few minutes from the airport and to the town, really close by to Highlands and Buttermilk slopes. Housekeeping was spot on each day and the service from the front desk was also excellent throughout the stay. I had some packages shipped to the hotel, and the hotel would have them sent directly to my room without me having to request for it! When I arrived, I was picked up by Angel from the airport and he was so happy and positive to be working at the Meadows resort. NYE dinner at the hotel restaurant was also excellent and the wines were reasonably priced too. Overall I felt the staff seemed to work very well together to make the guest experience as seamless as possible. A shout out to supervisor Lance Lary who was always on the ball making sure everything was doing great. From day 1 of my stay he would already be addressing me by my name with a huge smile whenever I passed the front desk. A big thanks to Lance and the front desk team for the wonderful service! At check out I was really wondering to myself how we had stayed for 9 nights but yet I did not want to leave! This is a hotel I intend to be back again in the future!

A hidden gem on beautiful land just a 20 minute walk from Aspen. Super clean, cozy and spacious rooms with all that you need. The Bauhaus architecture with all the art installations is like being in an open air museum. So many trails for our dog to enjoy with us and the food was delicious and the hot tub and pool. We will definitely be back!
