The Hyatt Grand Aspen is a Residential property that also rents rooms as a typical hotel would. Keep in mind that as we are not a typical hotel some services are not provided such as room service, or a spa. What is provided is a first class property with beautifully appointed, immaculate rooms in a relaxed, home-like setting.

We have continued to gravitate towards the Hyatt Aspen as it always feels like home when arriving. Amazing team- from Roger (a true guru- who knows the property and rooms inside and out) to Zoe, Blanca, Cheyenne and others.. Everyone seems to go above and beyond to accommodate residents/guests. Great location (right in the center of it all), décor and spacious rooms. Would highly recommend and housekeeping is great- they have a multiphase process to cleaning the rooms and it shows! Thank you again for another great stay! Take Care, Jason B

I arrived at the Hyatt Residence Club Grand Aspen on Sunday, May 23. I am here for a weeks stay until Sunday, May 30. I made a trade with Interval International. Upon arriving at the upscale hotel I was told there was only valet parking and the fee would be $28 per day. Upon arrival at the condo we found out we are on a street level condo that faces the street. I was on a zoom call with my girlfriend sitting on the balcony and she said what are you sitting on the street? She could see the parked car right behind me. It is that close. There is a coffee maker in the room but no coffee. You have to ask for the coffee. The cups for the coffee had to be hunted down as they are not with the other glassware. We found them in a kitchen draw. When we opened the draw they went flying around. On Monday, May 24, I wanted to go to the pool. There are no pool towels at the pool and there are no pool towels in the room. I went to the front desk to ask for towels and the 3 girls working at the front of the hotel did not know where they were. One girl said she would deliver them to me at the pool. I go take a swim in the pool and guess what? They girl did not deliver any towels. I had to go back to the room dripping wet. I am not a happy camper and this is only my second day here and I am here for a week.

Overall the Hyatt was a huge disappointment. It was advertised as a ski in/out. It isn’t, Aspen mountain is down the street. The location isn’t the problem at the Hyatt, the staff is. Rodger is the transportation manager and he was shockingly rude. He waited only a few mins to pick us up for a ride back from Snowmass before he peeled out of there. He wasn’t happy about having to turn around to come get us and he made it very clear. One of his other drivers apologized on his behalf and acknowledged that he’s always like that. Upper management should be made aware that his attitude is a problem and he isn’t a good fit for a place that should deliver superior service. Now let’s talk about the unbelievable behavior of the concierge, Lindsay. We were taken to Snowmass (25 mins away) on a Hyatt shuttle. One would think that they would assist you in arranging travel back ... nope. So when I called and was informed all of the shuttles were booked for the remainder of the day, Lindsay walked me through my options: hop on a local bus or pay $65 for one way private transportation. I told her neither were suitable and she responded by hanging up the phone one me. No, we didn’t get disconnected. No, I didn’t get a phone call back apologizing. Considering that she should be the most hospitable person on property, her conduct is worthy of being fired. The manager Allison listened to my complaints but unless there are sweeping changes, expect POOR service from the Hyatt. Brian, Bentley and Illana were all very professional and accommodating. They were a real pleasure for the week we stayed. Overall, I would not recommend this place and for certain will never return. For the price, you can get much better service at a dozen other hotels. Our experience at the Ritz at Highlands was ten times better than here.

We had a week stay here in a one bedroom. I was surprised to have a hot tub on our deck. It was great to just go out the door and hop in. We used it repeatedly. I asked if we could get 2 lounge chairs and they appeared quickly. The people who worked here were pleasant, helpful and friendly. Kudos to Patrick who was very knowledgeable about Aspen and surrounding areas. As we walked around town we met some great friendly people. Can't wait to book again!

My stay at Hyatt this February was great! The hotel has a gym, heated pool and a hot tub. The stuff was very responsible and helpful with booking private rides to mountains. There is also a shuttle to all the ski mountains. Housekeeping did a very good job with cleaning, disinfecting and covid precautions. The location by the Aspen mountain is very convenient!
