I stayed here during Thanksgiving 2020. Beautiful property and my room (Grand Deluxe with Balcony) overlooks the Aspen Mountain. Amazing views to look at (one picture attached). It's really quite stunning and the location, although not at the base of the mountain, is still very central in Aspen. Everything is 5-15 min walk away. I don't know what the occupancy rate was during my stay but it didn't seem to be terribly busy. So I could lounge around having post-breakfast coffee in the lobby area or other parts of the property in peace and quiet. The fireplaces were roaring and it made the entire place really nice and cosy. However the service level is average at best. Some examples: 1. I got 3 different answers from 3 different staff members when asked whether they provide a ski concierge service. 2. The chat App that they promote was really quite tragic. The "Butler" took at least 15-20 mins to respond to the initial hello. The purpose of the chat app is to have an instant interaction. If they can't do that, it defeats the purpose. Basic questions like "Where is the gym located" should be on their fingertips but the response was "Let me find out for you" and it took them 30 mins to get back by which time I was already at the gym (went to their website instead to figure it out). 3. Kept referring me as "Mrs" during chat. Corrected them and told them I'm a male guest but the mistakes kept coming. 4. Called Room Service but nobody ever picked up the phone. All in all - it was an OK trip. I enjoyed Aspen as a whole but unlikely will stay here again. I'd like to think St. Regis is at par with other luxury brands where they work towards personalising their service...knowing who their guests are and making them feel like they're "home away from home". I didn't get that at this property which is a shame.

Wow, nothing bad to say about my time at the St. Regis. Honestly, the only bad thing was having to leave! The building and interior of the hotel are absolutely lovely and make for such a classic feel throughout all areas of the property. The Little Nell is often regarded as the best place in Aspen, and it is great, but the decor is often trying to be something...as is following certain trends that inevitably come and go (and are usually lame in the first place). Whereas the St Regis is timeless throughout. And the whole reason I am writing this review is to compliment the lovely staff that really made our trip over the top. Anisha at the front desk was always helpful and courteous and made sure we were happy. The hosts, servers, and bartenders in the lobby were amazing! Kelly always greeted us with a big smile and took care of us right away. Carly and Emma were just lovely and again, the only downside was having to to leave! Oh, and Moises! What a guy! I was so happy to have met them all and they really made my stay extra special. Hopefully I can get back again soon!

Highs: Location: It's in the downtown core and close to everything House Car Service: Pretty much everything is walkable, however if its cold or the altitude is hitting you, take a no charge ride in a new Escalade. People: Everyone was nice and looking to help you however they can. Special shout out to Chelsea at the concierge desk for being on top of all my reservations. Edward in shipping for getting my package out and Anisha at the front desk for working with available rooms to find an upgrade! Housekeeping: They did a tremendous job and my room was always kept up neat and clean! Status Recognition: I was lucky enough to receive a very nice upgrade and the room was amazing! Lows: Platinum Breakfast: I've stayed here before and normally they allow you to access the breakfast buffet, however no buffet due to COVID. They provide a $56 (does not include tax/tip like SR Deer Valley) credit, however with the menu selection and prices that barely covers 1 person. I got coffee, water and avocado toast, with tax and tip that came out to $52...for one person. See the problem?

One of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had. I am a well traveled person and I have to say the St Regis in Aspen was truly an amazing experience. They offer a free shuttle from Aspen airport to the hotel, they greet you with a glass of champagne, take your luggage and check in was a very easy process. The room was absolutely beautiful, very comfortable very deluxe. The bed was like a cloud, the amenities are first class. A welcome package awaited me with a hand written note welcoming me to the resort, bottled water, snacks etc. The spa is out of this world. By far one of the best massages I’ve ever had. Love the jacuzzi and steam room and the oxygen lounge. The pool and hot tubs were very nice and luxurious. The conceriege made us dinner reservations, brought down my skis everyday. The checkout process very fast and easy. I would HIGHLY recommend this property to couples (very romantic), or friends going on a ski trip! A +++

This hotel sucks. Absolutely. The building is beautiful but stuff is absolutely horrible. I would of rated this hotel with 1 but thanks to managers who saved our stay I think it deserves 2. Everything what could go wrong went wrong. I got married at this hotel. My husband and I stayed at president suite. No flowers. No fruit basket. Multiple times messed up breakfasts orders. All orders to room were wrong and messed up. No one knew who we were. GM didn’t even bother to write a welcome or congratulations card to the newly weds. Horrible experience. Until my husband got very angry. After that things were changed - we got a congratulations card from marketing team. Overall JOKE. wanna know who’s the GM. EXTREMELY INCOMPETENT PERSON. ABSOLUTELY WANNA KNOW WHO’S THE HR RECRUITING MANAGER. Both should be fired. Staff is highly RUDE + UNTRAINED. Housekeeping department didn’t clean room properly on our arrival and every other day our room was poorly clean, even though I have been calling the front desk and asking for housekeeping department to send someone. THE BEST PART: on the day of my wedding I had a team of people doing a video shoot in my suite. GUESS WHAT: event manager knew. front office knew. Housekeeping knew. HOW? I KEPT CALLING EVERYONE NIGHT BEFORE. WHAT HAPPENED? Suite wasn’t clean, bed wasn’t made, and wasn’t ready for my wedding video which was around 11.40-12. Disappointment level 1000000000000. What a horrible hotel.
