Nestled in a prime location near local attractions, The St. Regis Aspen Resort receives accolades for its warm and upscale atmosphere, with travelers often praising the modern comforts and mountain views. Guests commend the friendly staff, though a few have experienced service shortcomings, including room servicing hiccups and billing issues. Reviews highlight the hotel's impeccable cleanliness and well-received amenities like the spa and the distinctive sabering ceremony. However, some guests question the value, citing unexpected charges and cramped quarters, which slightly dims the otherwise glowing feedback.

We booked this trip when it was still 60k per night. Check in was good and we got upgraded to a room with a mountain view. Nothing about the room was different but checking the app, the room we got was priced higher because of the view. I'm a bonvoy titanium so we also received a $52 daily breakfast credit with could be used to order off the menu or towards a buffet. Note, buffet is 42 per person so it won't cover 2 people but we opted for the buffet each day. Primarily because we have 2 kids age 4 and 3 and kids 4 and under are free. The buffet was fantastic.
The service at this resort is impeccable. From concierge to maid service to valet, we were impressed with the level of care the employees took. I don't understand the negative reviews because we didn't notice anything out of sorts or out of place. We also used the car service to get a ride into town and they were also very prompt in picking us up after dinner. The location is convenient for the bus rides to Snowmass and ran consistently.
Aspen is a very expensive resort town from the hotels, to the restaurants. Everyone knows this going in so I'm not going to comment on the price. It's just a given.
We're coloradans so it's a little bit of a drive to get there but it was a fantastic stay.

An absolute gem amidst Aspen.

We visited just after the reopening post COVID. Aspen is always a place I wanted to visit and the St Regis left no stone unturned in making our trip special.

Booked through AMEX FHR and they provided all the amenities as per the deal along with a beautiful room upgrade to a deluxe balcony room with mountain views.

Room was modern and the bathroom was one of the best I’ve seen.

Along with no other than it being the best.....they are also the MOST pet friendly hotel I’ve ever visited. Our Poodle could hang by the pool, take breakfast with us and be in all the communal areas.

Breakfast was delicious each day, beautiful prepared healthy portions of food.

All the staff made an extra effort to make sure you were left wanting nothing.

Truly worth the money in my humble opinion.

The St. Regis name is synonymous with palatial surroundings, world-class locations and top service. This resort certainly fits into the mold of one’s expectations for a SR stay. I do think it’s hard to review hotels during the pandemic, because nothing is what it once was. To assume you’re going to have the five-star experience of 2019 or before is a wrong assumption. People are tired, budgets have been cut, and many small things we’re used to like a lively Champagne Sabering just are not the same. This hotel tried their best to deliver a solid experience as the slow season was upon them, and the team delivered.

The hotel’s hard product really shines in the rooms. We booked a terrace room on level two facing Aspen Mountain. Sitting in the sun with a glass of champagne watching the skiers slice through the snow up above was a really entertaining time, and I am thankful we had such a large outdoor space. The room itself was a generous size, with beautiful furnishings, thick bed linens and a large marble bathroom with an elephant-sized rain head shower. Absolutely fantastic rooms here.

The public spaces are beginning to look a little bit tired – they are still very nice, but it’s time for a refresh to something that matches the upstairs hallways and rooms. The décor here is very disjointed. The food and beverage program left something to be desired as well – only casual food options were available and there was no service at the pool and jacuzzi. The spa however is fantastic, and the relaxation areas rival those of a large European mountain resort – complete with an oxygen bar!

All in all, a great stay. I just couldn’t imagine paying over $1,000.00 for this same room and experience during the height of ski season.

Right off the bat, as I checked in and was told that there was a mix up and my upgraded mountain view room was no longer available I was a little taken aback since I'd heard such great things about this hotel. The staff tried to find a better room but since they were sold out they said there was nothing else available and they gave me a $50 food credit. Turns out our room was in the 'annex' and looked out on the valet entrance/pedestrian bridge. The room looked nothing like the photos - it was quite small and looked like it needed an update. In addition, the refrigerator and espresso maker didn't work. When we called the front desk, we were told they couldn't replace or fix the fridge but had to bring in an additional fridge. Um, no thank you. When I went downstairs to talk to staff about the room I was told 'We are sold out and there is nothing we can do. And believe me, you don't have the WORST room in the hotel.' My jaw dropped. We would also recommend staying away from the breakfast restaurant. The service and food was terrible (I saw multiple guests getting up and just leaving and also arguing with staff about the super long waits.) My kids thoroughly enjoyed the pool but due to COVID you had to get a chair very early in the day or else they run our of space. The food at the pool was also delicious but once again the service was terrible. The other wonderful thing about this hotel was the location - walkable to everywhere, across from a lovely park where we could let the kids and the dog run. We also had great experience with the bellmen - so gracious and funny. Lastly, there was no sign of Kitty the mountain dog mascot the entire time we were there even though we were told he would be there. The kids were BUMMED . As a loyal Bonvoy member and Marriott customer, I've stayed at many luxury properties and this one just didn't cut it. We had better service at the Residence Inn on our drive home.

My husband and I booked 5 days here for our honeymoon, and we’ve been incredibly disappointed. Ahead of our stay, the concierge reached out to ask the occasion. We responded that it was our honeymoon, and aside from a quick email back to say congrats, there has been no mention of it on our trip. I have Ambassador status, and although the hotel is showing availability, they shared that they had no availability to upgrade our room. While we understand that we cannot have a coffee machine in our room, other St Regis hotels we’ve visited have provided a morning French press for titanium/ambassador members - it seems that’s not something this location does. The staff seem bothered when you ask questions, and when we checked in, they didn’t inform us of any of the adjusted hours. The location and premises are beautiful, but don’t expect the service excellence you might find at other legacy SPG resorts, nor to receive anything for your brand loyalty.

One of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had. I am a well traveled person and I have to say the St Regis in Aspen was truly an amazing experience. They offer a free shuttle from Aspen airport to the hotel, they greet you with a glass of champagne, take your luggage and check in was a very easy process. The room was absolutely beautiful, very comfortable very deluxe. The bed was like a cloud, the amenities are first class. A welcome package awaited me with a hand written note welcoming me to the resort, bottled water, snacks etc. The spa is out of this world. By far one of the best massages I’ve ever had. Love the jacuzzi and steam room and the oxygen lounge. The pool and hot tubs were very nice and luxurious. The conceriege made us dinner reservations, brought down my skis everyday. The checkout process very fast and easy. I would HIGHLY recommend this property to couples (very romantic), or friends going on a ski trip! A +++

Highs:
Location: It's in the downtown core and close to everything
House Car Service: Pretty much everything is walkable, however if its cold or the altitude is hitting you, take a no charge ride in a new Escalade.
People: Everyone was nice and looking to help you however they can. Special shout out to Chelsea at the concierge desk for being on top of all my reservations. Edward in shipping for getting my package out and Anisha at the front desk for working with available rooms to find an upgrade!
Housekeeping: They did a tremendous job and my room was always kept up neat and clean!
Status Recognition: I was lucky enough to receive a very nice upgrade and the room was amazing!

Lows:
Platinum Breakfast: I've stayed here before and normally they allow you to access the breakfast buffet, however no buffet due to COVID. They provide a $56 (does not include tax/tip like SR Deer Valley) credit, however with the menu selection and prices that barely covers 1 person. I got coffee, water and avocado toast, with tax and tip that came out to $52...for one person. See the problem?

We visited the Mountain Social Club, the beautiful lobby bar area of the St. Regis, and had a wonderful experience. Leslie, the hostess, has been an employee of Starwood/Marriott for 20+ years, and you can feel how much she cares about her customers and how proud she is to work for the St. Regis. She treated my husband and I with the type of hospitality would expect and hope for at a luxury mountain property.

The COVID protocols were observed, in depth cleaning happened between each customer, and other guests were consulted prior to us sitting down. Once we did sit down, we were able to enjoy wonderful cocktails fireside. Our server, Rosario, was attentive and kind, always checking in on us and making sure our glasses stayed full. Their selections of wine by the glass will have something for everyone, and their specialty cocktails like the Sazerac and Old-Fashioned are some of the best we've had.

Take a chance and sit across from some strangers--you might be surprised and make some new friends like we did! Everyone was so happy to be there, you would look across the room and catch the eyes of other guests and there were many smiles all around. Thank you to the St. Regis Aspen family and to the Mountain Social Club for a wonderful visit!

St Regis Hotel has kept its excellency of service everywhere in the world.
I have been to their Hotels in NYC, Deer Valley, Istanbul, Rome, San Francisco, Venice, Washington DC, and Aspen. The service is always perfect, the staff is great, their rooms, restaurants, bars, pools, and spa are amazing.
Recently I was at the Aspen location, I love the fireplace in the middle of the lobby.
As soon as I walked in someone welcome me and direct me to the living room gave me a sofa seating where I order drinks and food.
The place is cozy, the staff professional.
Tom served, he was great.
The cocktails are well made.
Thank you for keeping your 5-star standards.

We normally come here as family in the Summer time, staying down valley, but visiting Aspen for shopping and meals and activities. While the Fall time is still busy, it's not quite the hustle and bustle of Summer or Winter, which makes it a fantastic time to visit. A few weeks out from our stay, my wife and I received an email from Amanda, a reservations coordinator with the hotel, to square away any arrival assistance we may need and any special occasions we wanted to celebrate during our visit. Top notch customer service that delivered with a bottle of Prosecco and some candies to celebrate our anniversary.

Upon arrival, we were greeted by valet and they took care of the car ($50/night) and bags, which met us up in our room. Precautions were made by every hotel employee due to the COVID pandemic. We felt safe interacting with hotel employees because of this. Masks on everyone and limiting of occupants in elevators. Hand sanitizing stations located throughout the hotel. We stayed in a deluxe king room (435) for 3 nights, that was large and well appointed for a couple to stay in. Bed was comfy and luxurious as can be and was nice to snuggle into on a cold night. The room overlooked Aspen itself and we enjoyed seeing the change of the leaves on the Aspen trees around town and across the valley at sunrise and sunset.

Cleaning service was top notch, as was room service that we had one morning for breakfast. We did attend the champagne sabering ceremony one evening in the courtyard and that was fun and informational. The employees running the valet were very nice and conversational. Always asking if we needed any help on where we were going and how our day/activities were going.

The St. Regis is top-class for a reason. Just a quick walk away to some of the finest shops and restaurants. Not to mention hiking trails and ski slopes just a short walk away as well. We took advantage of the trailhead just around the corner and up the street from the hotel one morning that allows you access to the hiking trails/roads leading up to Aspen Mountain. We loved our stay and wished we could have stayed longer. We will be back!
