When visiting in Alamosa, we had planned to stay here. It looks like a unique place to stay. There were no cars there, place was shut down. We were so disappointed. If we were to travel again to Alamosa and they were open, we would still consider them for a stay.

We are only open after 3pm, so sorry you missed us but you can call the motel and we answer.

We stayed at the Riverside Inn while we were visiting Great Sand Dunes National Park. What a quaint little motel, and cheap. The person that checked us in was very friendly and offered lots of suggestions for local restaurants. The queen bed was comfortable, and the in room free bottles of water and granola bars were a nice snack to...

This 1950s-era motel is charming and close to downtown. It's a short walk from the Rio Grande on US 160/US 285/CO 17. Be prepared for compact rooms yet all is adequate, clean and comfortable. Due to proximity to major highway it can be noisy. On Monday morning the traffic started around 4:45; on Tuesday we slept longer, perhaps owing to...

I was driving from Phoenix to Denver to transport an art show I had put up in January. What a refreshing adventure without the snow, so I meandered my way up, away from the BIG interstates, to head up vial I-285 to Denver area. TripAdvisor in hand, I had looked over a few options, as I travel with a cat...

A definite throwback in time. We were there for one night. The motel was very clean. The Barnwood walls, and whole atmosphere were very 1950's. We absolutely loved our stay. We felt like we were at a retreat. It was fun. We had the 2 bedroom, room #2. Not "high end", just old fashioned comfort. We will be back. The...

We found this classic style hotel after visiting the local sand dunes & water fall. We liked the knotty pine walls in the room & all the features work. Fridge, microwave, shower, heat/AC, cable TV & WiFi all work fine & the staff was nice.

This is a very nice motel for the price. Nothing fancy here but well worth the price. The lady checking me in was also the owner. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Very quiet though there were not many guests either.

Great "Route 66" style motel that was a pleasure to stay in. It looks older, but is well appointed. Owner was very pleasant and check in at late arrival was met with a smile and some laughs. The room was small but had all you would need and the bed was comfortable. I was impressed on my first step in...

Riverside Inn offers basic rooms at an economic price. While we slept fine, we did wish that the bathroom's shower was cleaner and found their Internet service to be extremely erratic. Pros: 1). Sleeping area was clean, bed was comfortable. Our room also had a separate kitchen area with full sized appliances, which we didn't use, but would be good...

I made our reservation knowing it was a retro type motel and was not disappointed. We had unit 17 which included a kitchen with full size refrigerator and stove/oven. It was nice having the large fridge after a few days on the road. Accommodations were a little tight but don't know if having the kitchen area was part of the...
