We stayed here once before and knew we would be back, one of our favorite things was the roof top deck and wished on this trip we knew it would not be available. We knew with weather we wouldn't be up there all the time but loved being up there wrapped in blankets and it wad not open one day...

Stayed three nights for a Christmas getaway. Ocean view room with a balcony was just the thing for relaxing in the December sunshine. The room itself was large with a queen bed and separate sitting area. Coffee, pie, and other goodies in the lobby. Very friendly and attentive staff. The only disappointment was the roof deck was under construction, but...

Thank you so much for your sparkling review! How wonderful that you spend Christmas on the beach. Wasn't the weather perfect? Only a third of our sundeck is currently under construction. Thank you so much for understanding. We promise it will be amazing! Hope to host you again soon. Off to the Beach, Alexandra Director of Communications

If you to enjoy your vacation don't stay at inn at Avila beach so bad. First thing is too expensive for the price we paid and they don't care all they want is money. They srtart their renovation from the other room when we arrived without any noticed when you booked in. If I know I will pick another hotel...

It pains us to see this review! We proudly are the most reasonable hotel in the town of Avila Beach. We are currently updating the hotel, but it is only ever between the hours of 10am and 3pm and we always keep our guests informed of this. We do hope that you'll give us another chance. Thank you, Alexandra Director...

I happened to stumble upon Avila Beach and this hotel driving north to SF. Due to business, I had to unexpectedly find a room around Pismo Beach and found this hotel online and I'm glad I did. Avila Beach is really incredible, a trip back to CA in days long past, and this Inn keeps with it. Excellent hospitality, uniquely...

Stayed here one night while on a CA HYW 1 road trip with my BFF. It's quirky in a good way. Room had two large beds beds and a jacuzzi tub which we didn't use and a gas fireplace also didn't use as it was too warm. Our room was definitely dated and was told they are remodeling the rooms....

Truly a glorious experience. Wonderful decor: unique, sunny, bright, cheery, tasteful and clean. Full of wonderfully thoughtful little extras - a welcome bag of treats, a kitchen stocked with refreshments, pies, ice creams, teas, coffees, fresh made cookies. Beyond delightful staff. Tremendously accommodating and welcoming. Book the sea view - the sunset and sunrise over the ocean are spectacular. Experience...

Although my husband and I happened to come during a rain storm, the hotel was very cozy and welcoming. I had choose the modern room which was just what we needed for the type of weather. Our room came with a fireplace to keep us warm and also a 2 person Jacuzzi tube. We loved the wood furniture and back...

We love this hotel! So friendly. Edward is wonderful, showing you around when you arrive. They serve cookies, pies, ice cream, pop cycles (anytime), coffee and tea every evening at 8. Left overs served the next morning. Sun deck is amazing. Sat up there for a few hours drinking wine and watching the sun set. They also have a video...

I've wanted to stay here for awhile and tried to book once before. However, I reserved a room on the phone & then was told upon arrival my room was booked to someone else while I was on my way! I was told to try again another night as it was the last room. I heard about the new renovations...
