We had a great time! Staff is very caring! Located near everything. We walked from the marina and the casino from the hotel. All restaurants are also in walking distance. The lobster trap is your best option for late night dining during the off season.

This hotel has character but mainly on the building structure. The King size bed room was very well kept, had a mini refrigerator and a microwave, a table for two, a screen/plasma TV and a couch. The restroom/shower was beautiful (although I would've preferred a bathtub)... huge nice shower! The hotel walkways were spacious and clean with nice moldings and...

Perfect location and lovely Victorian hotel located heart of the Island. Walking distance from ferry, beach, restaurants and all island funs. Light breakfast served in the morning. No elevator but easily walkable stairs. Friendly staff. We stayed here for a weekend exploring the Island and we loved everything about it, specially the location. Will definitely come back to stay at...

Great location, about 1/2 block from Crescent St, the beach and harbor. Steps from the Tour Plaza, a liquor store with cold sodas and juices, and restaurants. Pick up and drop off at the ferry dock is a nice plus. No elevator, but the wide staircase was not a problem. We had a very nice king bed room at the...

No elevator, but charming staircases. But some of them a bit a little scary as the floors all tilt to some degree due to the age of the hotel. I would recommend an additional banister rail to hang on to when negotiating the stairs. We had a lovely refurbished room with a huge marble shower. Very nicely located in the...

conveniently located. Rooms are clean but you need to ask for face towel. Breakfast is bagels and coffee. Internet connectivity is non existent. Underwhelming. We missed direct views of the water. Noisy street but easy access to restaurants and bars. Room 201

We went to Catalina for our 25th wedding anniversary. Keep in mind that things on the island are expensive - not Hawaii expensive, but not cheap. The Glenmore was in our price range (averaging just under $200/night, and that's 2 midweek nights and Friday, when the rates jump up $50), centrally located in Avalon, and it offered rooms with king...

Prime location. Decent room, good price. Thin walls, but comfortable bed. Good front desk service, very friendly. My daughter and friend stayed here for her first vacation without parents. Provided a basic continental breakfast. Ask for AAA discount.

We came to Catalina Island on a whim, purchased hotel reservations on the ferry to the island. We were unsure what to expect, but was great. Three scuba divers, with lots of gear, and thanks to Corey, and him accommodating our gear we were able to come and go as we please. Thank you!
