Don't stay here- it was smelly. We are locals and my husband just needed a couple nights here and we really were saddened. This hotel could do really well if the owners cared for it better and cleaned the smell up. Also, there was a cheaper better hotel nearby he moved to on his third night. To be fair, he did not say anything about it and just left as he felt ill from the smell, and found the smell was not just in his room, but on the top floor and other places as well. He did not want to stay or switch rooms.

I booked this place as a stop over for a ski trip to Tahoe. Didn't want to do the whole route after work. The traffic was not bad and reached here just before 9PM. Was expecting poor conditions as the rate I paid for it was very low. The room was good, clean and with all amenities. The free hot breakfast was excellent! The room was quiet even though this place is close to the busy I-80 freeway. Our room was in a building at the back.

The night desk clerk was friendly and tried to be helpful. The morning desk clerk was cheery and helpful. The place is old and looks it. I'd say it's way overdue for remodeling (I was concerned the elevator would fail at any moment). With it's current condition, I couldn't recommend this place to anyone (other than it's friendly staff). The eggs and sausage at breakfast were pretty descent.

The room was not well cleaned. There was change left on the carpet, stains on the bedding, and the vanity sink would not drain. The furniture is worn and outdated. These are all observations from our first half hour here. We shall see how the night proceeds!

From the outside it doesn’t look the best. It is a older property but the room was good. Comfortable bed and great room size. Staff was very nice. Breakfast was above average. Parking was great. Room has all you need and it’s clean, just older and a little worn in a few places but that doesn’t bother me. Pool and hot tub outside.
