Me and my wife stayed there for the weekend and had water poring through from the ceiling above . So we left a day early because it was unsafe water was coming through the light fixture. we only asked to be refunded for the day we didn't use and have still not even been called back. That's been three months.... More

Doubled booked us (paid through Kayak and was then refused a room until we paid a higher price directly) and will not respond to email, calls, or texts. We have been forced to challenge the charge with the bank and Kayak. I'm not sure they even have a method of contacting them that is checked in any way.

If there was a way to leave no stars or minus stars, that would be more appropriate for this place. A friend and I arrived yesterday after driving 8 hours to get here. We arrived a little after 5, and no one was at the reception area. Two resident ladies helped us out by calling the very pregnant new receptionist,... More

This facility is a mixed bag. It is an old funky charming inn loaded with wonderful antiques and winding hallways. Accessing the facility is the biggest issue. The address listed is 195 Harrison Ave which is actually a paint store across the street. The parking lot with entryway is not marked and appears to belong the the funeral home nearby.... More

We came here to cheer on friends at the Western States 100mi. I found interacting with the proprietor easy and she was very friendly. She allowed us to check in early, which was great. We were given the "Chinese Room", which was very disappointing. The room was small, there was no shower (tub with handheld shower head), and worst of... More

The room was comfortable and quiet. I enjoyed staying there. The sitting room and dining room are very nicely decorated and comfortable too. Breakfast was buffet-style and had a good assortment of eggs, bacon/sausage, potatoes, waffles, bagels, cereal, muffins, tea and coffee.

We recently traveled to Auburn for a wedding where we were joined by our daughter who is away at college. We were warmly greeted upon our arrival and escorted to our room by the innkeeper who gave a comprehensive overview of our room and the amenities that were available during our stay. The beauty and the charm of this older... More

Was in town on business so my spouse and I took some time for romance. We enjoyed walking around old Auburn. Had dinner at Bootleggers. Wait service was more interested in each other then the customers. Beautifully done decor and excellent location except for parking. Food was ok at best. Will not return. The bed and breakfast is run down.... More

Stayed there for one night, and it is a cute house which was turned into hotel. Great example of what you can do with an old house with a little bit of imagination. Excellent decor all around the house. It's a little bit expensive, but for me was definitely worth it. PROS: Cute old-fashioned decor, I liked it very much... More
