Don’t stay here if you are a light sleeper as it’s right on the main highway. Our TV didn’t work and we called reception to fix it and no-one came even though she said it would be 20 mins. We eventually rang reception and said we had to go out and they were going to fix it when we went out for dinner. We got home from dinner and still not working and we called reception again and was told that they would change us to another room. It was too late to change with a young child and we declined the offer. The next morning at breakfast I heard someone saying that the drinks machine had taken their money and they didn’t get their drink. The lady at reception barked “call the 800 number”. I felt sorry for the people who lost their money. Wouldn’t have taken much for them to reimburse the clients money and them to ring the 800 number. Another client came in to check out and went to hand the lady their room card and she said “in the box” and didn’t even attempt to collect the room card from them. IF YOU DON’T WANT TO BE IN A CUSTOMER SERVICE INDUSTRY, DON’T WORK IN A MOTEL

My wife and I stayed a night at the Aloha Inn whilst travelling down Highway 1 and it was the ideal one night stop. Located literally just off the road and with ample parking close to the accommodation. The room was reasonably large and the bed was huge and very comfortable. The only issue for light sleepers might be that it is so close to Highway 1 that you can hear the traffic!! Consider asking for a room facing the back if you want a little more quiet. The breakfast provided was very good and set us up nicely for the day. Self service cereals, toast, pastries etc... The highlight for us though was dinner at CJ's. A diner on a main road about two blocks away. If you are looking for dinner then take a 5 minute stroll here. A real American experience, lovely staff and fantastic food.

We came in late (9), there were no pool hours so the children made use of the pool immediately. The rooms were very sound resistant, so I didn't have to worry about bothering anyone, or being bothered.

We stayed here for the night on our way from Los Angeles to San Francisco. We chose this place because of the price. This motel met our needs. We had comfortable beds, it was clean, windows on each end of the room, a patio out back. The only thing we can complain about is the noise from the street and nearby freeway, that you can clearly hear. If you like it quiet, you should maybe choose a different place to spend your night because there is no room here that is quiet. Otherwise everything was fine, including the breakfast in the morning. Nothing fancy, but still a good start into the day.

Our room had a large bathroom and a very comfortable bed. Our only complaint was the noise from the street, but that wasn't the fault of the hotel manager. Unexpected was the nice simple breakfast the following morning.
