My wife and I have been visiting The Casitas of Arroyo Grande since 2013 with a total of six individual visits, and our most recent visit was to celebrate my birthday this past July. We live in Los Angeles area with high density of people/traffic, and the city life stress just melts away when we arrive at The Casitas of Arroyo Grande. The innkeepers Pat and Tony are very nice people and knowledgeable hosts with knowledge regarding varying things and activities to do in area. The beautiful fully landscaped private property has beautiful specimen trees and flowers inclusive of a smaller on site vineyard. The views from the elevated property from street are truly beautiful and relaxing. The four individually detached guest casitas have no common walls, very comfortable beds with fireplace, and private patio areas. The daily breakfast is brought to your private casitas is very delicious. There is also a solar heated pool on property. There are many birds on property inclusive of owls at night time. The weather at property is very mild due to relative close proximity to the Pacific Ocean. There are many activities in area such as wine tasting, hiking, golf, and trying different restaurants. We are definitely looking forward on a return trip back to The Casitas of Arroyo Grande.

Great stay here. We were the only guests the weekend we went, so it was very quiet. We enjoyed staying in the Sonrisa casita, it was lovely. Tony and Pat are great hosts and very personable. The place is immaculate, and breakfast was yummy. Would stay here again!

I can’t say enough about the Casitas at Arroyo Grande. Pat and Tony are the most wonderful hosts. The casitas are so roomy and comfortable with only the best of bedding and furnishings. We will certainly be coming back.

We had a very nice stay at the Casitas. Just 2 nights but it was excellent and very quiet. Great location for wine tasting afternoon trips and the breakfast by Tony is something to look forward to each morning. Many windows make for a light and airy room / suite, unlike claustrophobic multi story hotels. Pat and Tony will make sure you have everything you need, including a dinner reservation for us.

Las Casitas offered my husband and I the perfect place to unwind, relax and recharge. The property is beautiful, and our room was charming, private and so comfortable, with a lovely little patio where we ate breakfast, soaking up the sun and sounds of birds nearby. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the linens and amenities excellent. It is close enough to civilization for a fun day trip to the Sycamore Springs mineral hot springs, the town, and the beach, but far enough into the hills to feel removed from the busy-ness of the world. Swimming in, or sitting next to, the long and narrow hillside pool was like a dream. Tony and Pat were welcoming and helpful, and the breakfasts were absolutely delicious - such a treat! A highlight for us was the spectacular 4 course meal delivered to our patio the first evening we arrived after a long drive. We were given the option of ordering this in advance and were so grateful and thrilled that we did. Every bite was delicious. I enthusiastically recommend this special place. We will be back!

We had a wonderful stay at The Casitas! It is definitely a hidden gem on the central coast. Hosts Pat and Tony are delightful and eager to accommodate their guests. The setting is serene and private with amazing hill and valley views. Breakfasts were amazing. If you're needing some R & R, we highly recommend The Casitas!

Pat and Tony have a unique place for a couples getaway. Close to many sights and things to do, but also a relaxing place to just hang out and enjoy the views. Tony & Pat prepare an excellent breakfast every morning, fresh and tasty. We stayed at Cielo, which is perfect if you'd like a little additional privacy. Makes you feel like you have the place to yourself. Pat and Tony are very gracious and welcoming, like staying with friends.

The Casitas are lovely and peaceful and off the beaten path. The hosts were wonderful and accommodating and made sure everything was PERFECT! Both our breakfasts were served, and eaten, on our private patio and both were fresh and delicious! The view from the patio, while we ate breakfast, was beautiful and quiet! Thank you!💜

For a milestone wedding anniversary, I wanted to surprise my wife with a special and memorable getaway from the Los Angeles basin. Through friends, I learned of The Casitas Estates at Arroyo Grande. After finding out more about this unique retreat , with enthusiasm and high expectations I made reservations for a four-night stay. My wife and I weren’t disappointed. We meandered up the Southern California coast without Margie having any clue where we would end up -- until I turned up the driveway to The Casitas. We drove up the private driveway and at the top found ourselves in the midst of an attractive hacienda complex. Upon our arrival, Pat Goetz and Kona (the Goetz’ tail-wagging dog) came out to warmly greet us, show us around and provide an orientation. Our cat host, Luna, joined us in due course, seeking our affection. After a tour to see the property, including its pool area, vineyard, and adjacent areas ideal for weddings and family, business and other special get-togethers, we were escorted to the casita we had reserved (there are four) adjacent to the Goetz’ beautiful hacienda home. We quickly observed that our casita and the entire property had been well planned and constructed by the original owner and that Pat and Tony had made noticeable quality improvements to the appointments. Our casita was delightfully decorated with furniture and tiles in keeping with the entire design of the property. It was very quiet, had a great view of the valley, overlooking the vineyard, and had a cheery private patio where we lounged and enjoyed Tony and Pat’s scrumptious breakfasts every morning with Kona and Luna stopping by to make sure we were enjoying ourselves. The Casitas Estates are located in the rolling hills just outside of Arroyo Grande, a quaint town. It provided a hub for short daily adventures on scenic country roads to Pismo Beach, San Luis Obispo, Cambria, and Morro Bay. Hearst Castle is not far away either. The entire setting is very private, quiet, serene and picturesque. It was just the type of unique and romantic environment I was seeking for our anniversary celebration, much to the delight of Margie and me. Tony and Pat were highly attentive, engaging, and gracious hosts, being there for our every need or just to chat. We felt very pampered. I have made reservations to return to our ideal escape for our anniversary next year! Don G.
