We booked it late at night not knowing what it was. We paid 100 dollars for one night for two and the shower wasn't working, water was fleeing from everywhere. The Indian tapestry is kind of charming but the outside is not taken care of. For a ecological guesthouse, it deserves to be better maintained.

This cozy bed and breakfast was perfect. It was comfortable and inviting. It is in a perfect location and you can easily walk to anywhere in town. The staff was kind and helpful making this the perfect base for sighting. I will gladly stay here again!

There are several options to choose form. The low budget rooms are shared space but if you spend a little more you can opt for private room and bath! I highly recommend this place for anyone who enjoys meeting other travelers

My children, age 7 and 11 were pleasantly surprised by the house. After traveling 6 hours to arrive in Arcata, they were anxious to get out and explore. There was lots to look at and plenty of space outside to roam around. There is a tree branch loft that was fun to sit on, there were gardens to eat fruit...

This elegant home-turned-hostel has a variety of accommodations, from a mattress in a dormitory, to a room with 2 beds, all are beautiful and ecological, but the common areas are a work of art (and filled with them). The fridge is full of organic food you can have for breakfast. Ask if they will have bikes available to rent. They...

What an awesome hostel. The first word that comes to mind is chill. The people that work there are great, forward thinking people. The hostel has an awesome little tree house patio thing that is super cozy and a great place to smoke a cig :). Any guest can help themselves to things in the garden. I was cooking breakfast...

This is a great hostel. It's very clean, and nice. We have stayed in the cove double bed which has a little privacy. Really awesome shower with a skylight. Comes with a free organic simple breakfast. Not much privacy, but its a hostel! They have private rooms and a tiny house too!

This is a warm, safe, magical haven with wonderful people and great energy. Somehow, it felt like a home away from home. The beds are insanely comfortable, you may not want to leave. And the house is eco-friendly, using natural products, and in an amazing location in Arcata!
