I think that there are a lot of older reviews on here and since then, things have changed. My experience here was great. First of all, we showed up and knocked on the door and asked if there was a room available, which is not typically the ideal way to do things. Sharon opened the door and welcomed us in...

I enjoyed my visit to Humboldt State University and stayed at the Lady Anne for 3 nights in November. The inn is lovely as are Sharon and Sam, the owners. I appreciated the suggestions about the university and the area offered by Sharon and Sam at my request. They are quite knowledgable about the area. The room was comfortable and...

We love B&Bs - we enjoy coming to a place that is homey, meeting new people, and the eclectic decorations that often adorn the house. This had all of that, plus a very comfortable bed. On the downside, there was no hot water for showering in the teeny tiny shower until about 20 minutes of running water (which I hated...

Just loved staying here. The people were great and the Inn was amazing - love the history. Price was totally fair, too! A short walk to downtown Arcata. Chill in their beautiful garden or read a good book in a cozy chair next the a HUGE beautiful window. We will be back!

A doll house, a definitely rare one. The hosts, Sharon and Sam, are the loveliests persons one could find in that spot. In plain words. Our room was beatifully set, slept like a baby till the sun hit my eyelids. Somehow we experienced not only a B&B, but also acquired new friends. Recommended !!!

We stayed here two nights during our trip through the North-West USA. We picked this B&B because of it beging close by to the Redwood Parks. The house is great Victorian style house in a nice neighborhood in Arcata. Close by are restaurants and it is easy to reach from the US101. It is lovely decorated with lots of stylish...

This is a fantastic bed and breakfast located in the heart of Arcata. The house itself is magnificent and its in a nice location. The owners manage it and are delightful people. They always make an outstanding breakfast and provide top notch service. The rooms are very nice and the entire house is very cozy and fun to experience. This...

My wife and I have stayed at the Lady Anne B&B in Arcata half a dozen times, and – while it is somewhat eclectic – we have enjoyed our time there. When there the last time, a week spanning Thanksgiving 2013, we asked Sharon to reserve two rooms so that friends could join us to attend the Mad River Festival,...

Following up on my review of May 7, 2013, my wife and I stayed a week over Thanksgiving at the Lady Anne B&B. What I said previously remains accurate. The Lady Anne B&B still "offers clean, friendly, charming, eclectic accommodations...packed with memorabilia, almost like an antique store....not sophisticated, certainly the opposite of a big-chain hotel or motel. But for what...

My husband and I spent three days at The Lady Anne and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The proprietors are so friendly, breakfasts were delicious and the other guests lovely to meet. I would suggest you read the other reviews and consider them.
