The worst place I ever stayed at. My wife decided for us to stay, I just wanted to forget about the loss of our money and go somewhere else. Went to a party for a friend and needed a place to stay. Bathroom had cockroaches and didn't see them anywhere else but who knows. Never Again

Not the newest, but clean and cosy. Its seem like they are renovating which would improve the place for sure but all in all i enjoyed my 3 days here. The staff were helpful and cheerful and the price was right.

And you know what I'm talking about. It's out of the way. It's not a filth-pot, but it's not even near Motel 6 standards either. Sure there's only a swamp-cooler, but it works fine because those coolers do great with DRY heat, and that's the kind you get in Apple Valley.

I wasn't expecting much because of the price but this place was far worse than my already low expectations. Made a reservation online but the front desk manager couldn't find it. It was his first day. It was below 40 and no heat in the room so I was moved to another room where the heat worked for about 10...

I had to run up to Apple Valley for business and did not have time to research reasonably priced motels. I generally have good luck with the modestly priced establishments- primarily because I am not looking for nor willing to pay for 400 thread-count Egyptian cotton sheets, pillow-top mattresses and fancy flat-screen TV's. Not that you could hope to find...

I am compelled to write a review because this definitely is the worst motel room I’ve encountered in the past forty–five years of traveling. Due to uncontrollable, last-minute changes in medical and caregiver schedules of family we were visiting in Lucerne Valley, my sister was unable to cancel our reservation less than 48 hours prior to check in. The Black...

I Love this place, it is one block from the main hwy so you avoid all the noise, the price is cheap at $45 a night. Rooms are not like the Hilton so if you are looking for something like that then don't come here, out bathroom shower was newly tiled, and room came with a full kitchen. Overall i...

Those fools who wrote negative reviews on this place have obviously unreal expectations. It's a inexpensive quant quiet motel located away from all the hussle bussle of the main drag. I don't understand what they're complaining about. You can clearly see from the outside that it's an older establishment, did they expect that it would suddenly become renovated on the...

“Ask HOW OLD THE AIR CONDITIONING UNIT IS. If it's old, it's gonna be NOISY and INEFFICIENT. Translation: it's gonna run all night on high to keep the room cool.”
