Janet was extremely welcoming and friendly, providing us with a wonderful breakfast including fresh smoothies each day and freshly baked cookies in the evenings. Rooms were comfortable and quiet, and it was nice to sit out on the porch enjoying a drink. It was hot outside but the rooms were well air-conditioned. Complimentary drinks and coffee making facilities were appreciated.... More

Full of charm and character. An excellent location, loved the early morning walks through Angel's Camp. Janet was warm, welcoming and a fabulous cook. I looked forward to each day's breakfast and the surprise baked goods at the end of the day. I will return.

Cooper House B&B was a wonderful cozy place to stay. The place is clean, beds are comfortable and food was delicious. Enjoyed our morning drinking fresh brewed coffee on a covered front porch and later afternoon wine on the back patio. Location was very close to town and parking was easy. Thank you Janet!

This was a last minute booking made through an agency, and when we knocked on the door, Janet hadn't been informed of the reservation. Nevertheless, she made us welcome, and quickly sorted out a room for us. The house is full of character, and we were very comfortable in our room with the small adjacent sitting room. This reservation was... More

I had never stayed in a bed and breakfast and called the owner Janey before booking. She was very sweet and when we arrived had snacks and drinks waiting there for us. We felt right at home and the room we stayed in had a wonderful private deck and breakfast the following morning was amazing. Definitely would visit there again.... More

Something a bit different, with lots of character. The owners went out of their way to make our stay a very comfortable one. They even provided our 2 year old with an Easter egg! Highly recommended if you want to avoid the homogeneous hotel experience.

Our stay was in an original Craftsman home built in 1910 by Dr. George Cooper. The best part is that it's located in a small historic town that is only a block from this home. The hosts have kept it's originality in tack, accessorizing with same period style furniture. Our hosts, Tey and Rob, were very accommodating during our stay,... More

Well located - a very short walk to main street, but far enough from busy highway 49 to keep the rooms quiet. Great mattresses, spotlessly clean and charming decor. Very very good hot breakfasts, beautifully served with fresh fruit - not your usual buffet selection. The house is historic and the baths are in the hallway, which might bother some... More

This converted 100+ year old home was great - and at least one suite has a second bed that worked well for our 10 year old son. He declared that this was the best hotel that he had ever stayed at. We liked it also - but you have to have reasonable expectations for an old building like this such... More
