My family and I love Angels Camp RV! We booked a pull-thru RV site w/ full hookups. When I checked in, they mentioned that it's a 50-amp site but my RV was 30 amp. They provided a dogbone (50 to 30amp converter) for us to use! We were escorted to our site, and was asked if we needed anything else. They mentioned that they were available, should anything come up. The dog park is huge! My kids swam everyday. And we explored Angels Camp, Murphys, Mercer Caverns, and Lake Melones. It's a great location, and great for our family. I highly recommend Angel's Camp RV, and will return for an annual trip.

Property's Favorite Review
Angel's camp rv resort and campground was the perfect place to spend Thanksgiving break. We camped in our fifth-wheel and had a great spot. We found the staff to be very helpful and the campsites clean and well-cared for. The campground loaned us a 30 to 50 amp adapter so that we could plug in (our spot was a 50 amp). We met the campground emu (surprise!) and enjoyed walks with our dogs. They have an amazing dog park with two separate enclosures with shelters for people if it's raining...or too hot. We enjoyed the nearby town of Angel's Camp including the holiday parade. The history of the town was interesting, especially the Jumping Frog of calaveras county. We visited caves nearby, the new melones lake, historic town of Columbia, and Big Trees state park. This camp is central to so many amazing adventures. We were there for several nights and still didn't see or do everything....we will definitely be back!

Full hook-up, clean, and right down the road to access fishing! Lot not really level, but was remedied with a few tire blocks. Would stay here again. We didn't use the pool or showers, but both were clean. Bushes between sites made it feel secluded. They have a small lending/ book swap library! Bring a few books for the next person! The only downside, you had to PAY for internet.

My youth group (35 people) spent two days at Angels Camp RV and Resort, I have nothing to complain about. The price was really reasonable. The staff was exceptional. The facility was extremely clean and safe. We will come back. The following two nights we stayed at a KOA, and I would recommend this place over KOA any day!

I have camped at Angels Camp RV and campground multiple times. The staff is always very friendly. Although I understand from the staff that they were shorthanded this last trip, our stay was a bit disappointing. The large bathroom near our cabin had a broken door when we arrived so it was out of service the entire trip. The screen on the front door of our cabin wouldn't stay shut so we had to keep the door closed due to flies instead of allowing fresh air into the cabin. The dog park needed some attention (big time!) and there was so much dog poop around the campground from inconsiderate campers that needed to be picked up! The location for this campground is great. Right off highway 49 and across from New Melones Lake. Really close to Sonora, Yosemite and Murphy's.
