RV park with a outdoors/ camping type atmosphere but with full hookups and great staff. Large fenced dog areas and very close to New Melones Reservoir. They also have camping sites and cabins available for rent.
Very clean RV park and friendly staff. Greeted immediately with friendly face, and even escorted to our RV site by a very nice gentleman Dennis. He’s always waving all day long as he passes in the park. Kitchen pavilion with electric range, sink, tables, charcoal and propane for use too. Bathrooms and showers are very clean and neat. Great entertainment area for both adults and kids; pool, playground, horseshoes, volleyball and basketball. About 1.5 hrs from Yosemite. Definitely will stay again. Cabins are well built, clean and all area groomed.
Convenient location to the Calaveras county fair. It was literally 0.6 miles. Staff very friendly and informative about the area. RV sites we nice and level with beautiful landscaping. Laundry facilities we good and reasonably priced. Never used the pool but heard it was cold
Not your traditional camp ground. Friendly service, great staff. I did enjoy the concierge service to your campspot. Upon arriving I had booked the wrong ampage space, the gentleman offered to go get me the converter and while at it, brought back a bag of ice. Very nice ! Unfortunately for me I had rude neighbors were were not considerate and were loud late in the evenings, not allowing for restful sleep. But this is a great RV Camp Park ! We will be back
This is a great campsite! The host greeted us and escorted us to our spot. He helped my husband back in and offered to help set up. He noticed we didn’t have a 50 amp adapter and he loaned us one for free. He helped our friends as well. Our spot was clean and we had plenty of room. Facilities are well maintained. They offer yard games, such as horseshoes, corn hole, volleyball, basketball, tether ball, and general sport balls, free of charge. There are play structures, but the swings need maintenance. The structure is very wobbly. It was nice and quiet at night. We were very pleased with our 1st visit here and will definitely return!!!
We were camping in a trailer, full hook ups, pleasant staff, escort to our site. Very helpful and pleasant staff. I did not locate the bathrooms to rate them. But the entire facility seems great for families, with a pool and playground.
We have stayed at Angels Camp RV and Camping Resort twice now. The staff is super friendly and accommodating, and the campground has nice sites and clean bathrooms/showers. We always enjoy our time there as well as time exploring and eating in Angels Camp, Murphys, and/or Sonora.
We were able to book this spot for the weekend very last minute. The lady in the registration office was extremely friendly as was the gentleman that provided an escort to our campsite, everyone here was friendly. The campsite was incredibly quiet/peaceful. Lots of things to do for the kids (pool, horseshoes, basketball, tetherball, volleyball, catching lizards, frogs, etc.) The only reason I couldn’t give 5 stars was because the resort ran out of water Sunday morning. I spoke to the office and they said it would take several hours because someone left water running all night and drained their holding tanks. In my opinion they should have larger storage tanks, but I’m also the guest that experienced water loss. All the spots have full water, sewer and 50Amp hookups. If you need an adapter, they loan them out in the office for free. We would stay here again, but when it’s a little more cooler and not 100 degrees.…
We experienced a lovely weekend at Angels Camp RV and Camping Resort. Each staff member was gracious and courteous. The grounds and facilities were well kept. Each site had well maintained firepits and picnic tables. The campsites provided a moderate level of privacy and space. The site contains a nice pond where you can hear the frogs that give Angels Camp the nickname Frogtown. There is a meadow with a walking path that is a good stretch for humans and canines. A notable character is Bobo or Chicken Little, the rescued emu!

Elise S. Elite '2021 Livermore, CA 149113339 1/20/2021 24 photos This review is during COVID with SIP restrictions and very little open. We visited Jan 12 - 15 (3 nights) as a means to homeschool away from home, away from electronics, and be close to outdoor activities. I can see how this place would be fantastic in the summer with the pool, volleyball and horseshoes right on site. Nearby gold mining and lake will draw us back in warmer months once the world opens back up even a little bit so some of these things become available. This visit, my 11 year old twin boys wanted to see snow. I was skeptical with the warmer weather but figured, lets stay in Angels Camp. It's barely and hour to the sno-parks, Big Trees State Park is not even 30 min, and if there's no snow in Bear Valley with 60 degree record highs, then we will check out Yosemite. The weather in Angels Camp was awesome! Low 40's at night 60ish during the daytime. The RV park itself was easy to find. We were greeted warmly and then offered an escort by Kaleb (his name I remember as it's my son's too!) He offered to help us back in and set up but declined as I'm trying to teach my boys and get a system that works consistently for us. It was great knowing there was help if we needed it. Since we have a tiny airstream, we use 30 amps and the sites are all 50 amps. This place is so cool they actually give you the adapter. I'd bought one on Amazon and never used so took theirs "just in case", but ended up not needing it and returned it. There is a family feeling about this place from visiting the office to phone interactions. All very warm and friendly. I had a payment issue in the office and Julie was so easy to talk to.. I felt like I almost hung out too long after so little interactions face to face with other adults in the last 9 months of SIP! The site itself is gravel, needed a bit of leveling as they are mostly drive through sites created down a hillside. We had a back in site being just 16' long which was great.. we had more space around us than most of the drive throughs and was more like a regional campground with space than a typical RV drive in site. No tent camping allowed though so we all slept inside the trailer. We will definitely book site 16 again. My biggest concern was having a dog along that doesn't really do well with other dogs (shelter rescued and haven't gotten over this yet) and our space right next to the dog park. However, there was only one other dog owner we saw ever take their doggie there. So, our pup got his first dog park visit. It's separated "small" and "large" dogs which was fantastic. There is no shortage of doggie poop bags around the resort either, so be responsible and pick up after your pooch! We appreciated these bags as our local parks in the bay area have not put them out since March 2020 when COVID started.. My boys thought they might want to play horseshoes at one point but they weren't out due to COVID. I asked at the office and they were more than willing to let us use them or leave them on their back porch to pick up after hours if we wanted to play. They really so want the guests to have the best experience possible. We will definitely be back - great location, great staff, and it was super quiet! I think we may have been the only people out there roasting marshmallows and using our picnic table. We followed the rules, quiet time 10 pm - 8 am and hopefully didn't disturb anyone. We only had one neighbor 3 spaces away for the first two nights and one more neighbor 2 spaces the other direction our last night... we were told weekends they do fill up, but weekdays were the perfect quiet get away to homeschool here!…
