Had not stayed here in 25 years. Room was clean and attractive. However, some updates were strange. The key card is inserted by the door to turn on the extremely bright can lights grouped in the center of the room. Arriving in the dark we were unaware of that and grouped a bit before crossing over to the bathroom to turn on a light there. No USB ports, we brought adapters just in case, very surprised about that.
No bedside lamps, there is a slide device on the wall between the beds that turns on another overhead, can be dimmed, timed up to 30 minute intervals then goes off automatically. The only soft dim lighting is around the bathroom counter mirror, which needs better lighting to get ready to go out.
A combo counter, shelf and drawer (four) unit runs several feet along the wall, hiding the coffee unit, fridge and microwave. You have to practically stand on your head to use the microwave or read how to use. We unplugged the coffee unit and moved it up to the counter for better use. A lot of wasted space, the microwave could have been up there also.
Towels were very nice and plentiful, beds were comfy, pillows were half the size of a normal one but you needed two and a half to equal one. Lobby cold and uninviting. Valet staff very nice and eager to help. Saltwater pool ok, jacuzzi about the size of a large tub and only one jet worked. Little kids taking up most of the space. Plenty of pool towels. View for the fireworks excellent. Painting is ongoing. Little sundries shop ok. Crosswalk to DL very close.

Hi there! We appreciate the feedback regarding your recent stay. Please note: the key card operated lights are a new energy-efficient requirement in the state of California. We're happy to hear our remodeled rooms were to your liking and that you found our custom "Dreamy Knights" beds to be comfortable. We hope your family created many magical memories during your visit and we look forward to welcoming you back in the future.

We were pleasantly surprised with our hotel. The front desk agent was able to accommodate our early check in request as our room was ready. She was very kind and our check in was quick. Our room was above our expectations, and was just as pictured on the website. It was spacious with comfortable beds & pillows. We didn’t hear noise from other rooms, except when people were right out side of our door. We were located near the pool, which was heated, the hot tub was amazing after long days at the park (though I wish it was kept a few degrees warmer). We had the best view from the hot tub of the fire works at the theme park. The fire works are loud and woke us up, but we expect to hear them being located so close, and were able to peek out our window again to watch them. The only con, was a condescending and rude front desk agent when we called down Dec 31 in the afternoon to request fresh towels, it put a sour taste in our mouths and hopefully management can have a chat with her about working in hospitality. Out of all of the staff we encountered though, she was the only rude one, the others were so very friendly and welcoming.

Excellent Hotel, very close to the entrance to the Disney parks.
Everything was new and clean.
Enough space to accommodate your suitcases and purchases.
Friendly staff. The price seemed fair to me.
The only detail is that room service only consists of taking out the trash and changing towels, but they discuss it from the moment you register.

Terrible customer service... Lies to your face every turn tries to tell you people in your suite and that why you can't get in when you clearly prove no one in room claims your lying and they never said that... Then when you deal with manager, manager claims she was there the night of incident that was never said. Then tells others oh I will investigate but if you were there you wouldn't have too. Treat paying customers less like trash... Then day shift after gets rude and disrespectful... Showers barely work it a spray or drip but you have to be right on it to get any water on you. You can hear all vehicle sounds. No sealing on doors so kids running in halls or neighbors doing anything you could hear in each room... And so help me there any issue with any kinda you are at fault... Pool is in disrepair with only being half full holes in flooring and salt based cleaning system. Toilets run all night instead of filling and sealing. It just keeps running flushing problems. Maintenance when was told had to fix something did but the fact that you know your having extended stay wouldn't you have the room check just a thought before hand so those aren't issues well they are staying with you.

We apologize that your room’s door key battery went out, causing you to see the front desk. We understand this was an inconvenience and took time out of your day; however, the manager researched the issue and sent maintenance right away. This was resolved within 20 minutes. We hope you enjoyed the rest of your birthday celebration at the “Happiest Place on Earth.”

Recently stayed at this hotel for the first time; checked in 11/21 and checked out 11/25. Our usual go-to good neighbor hotel was closed for remodeling so we tried Camelot. Upon arrival the staff was very nice…the valet staff was friendly and helpful and the front desk attendant was very pleasant. It’s valet parking only (which I was a bit unsure of at first), but it was so convenient and I actually felt like our car was safer from dings and whatnot. Cost us $103 to park our vehicle for the days we were there. I definitely dislike the additional parking fee since we’re already a paying customer, but most of the hotels around Disneyland are the same way so we knew to expect that. Room was decent, pretty basic but didn’t need much more. Room was clean and that’s really what matters most to me. Beds were comfy. Water pressure wasn’t good, but it could’ve been worse…my husband was the one most upset about that. Also no fan in the bathroom which I never like, but not a deal breaker. The ice machine was a little weak too, kind of more like ice flakes. None of those little things took away from our vacation though, we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. We did have some noisy neighbors but that isn’t the hotel’s fault, that’s just inconsiderate people. We had a heavy footed walker and/or running around child up above us (we were on the 3rd floor), and our next door neighbors were noisy in the morning; slamming the door multiple times starting about 6am, and loud talking/yelling out front of the rooms. Kind of a bummer because my sleep got cut short most mornings, but I also understand it’s Disneyland and people get excited. Again, not the hotel’s fault at all and it wasn’t troublesome enough to not stay again. We didn’t utilize the pool area but did go up and check it out. Pretty basic, but seemed decent. The big score at this place for us was the location. Super close walk to Disneyland and close to food for late night snacks after a day in the park. All in all this place was a winner in our book!!

Always GREAT!! My wife & I stayed here again! We have been coming out to the Disneyland resort for the past 5 years and always stay here. The view from the 5th floor right outside our door is amazing! You can watch the fireworks from the balcony. Great view of Matterhorn from her also. The rooms are good size and comfortable. The shower is hot & water pressure is great! The rooms have a fridge, microwave & coffee maker, makes it great for keeping snacks & drinks also heating them up late night. Not going out to get coffee in the Moring is also nice. The location is right across the street it takes 10 minutes & your in either park. There is a small store on the property & one about 2 minutes to the left that's a little bigger should you need anything. McDonalds is to the right literally next door should you want that. The staff is nice & helpful, always ready to assist if we happen to need anything. There is a in room safe for extra security makes it nice when you are playing and any from the room all day. We will be back again next year!

Spent four nights in a 2 room suite with family. Location is fantastic, rooms are nice but a little dark with the new wall paper. Having the microwave and refrigerator in the room is extremely beneficial for families. Pool was really fun and a nice getaway after a busy day. Employees were very friendly, especially Johnny Gomez, the parking check in attendant. The only negative was that they did away with daily maid service. We had to call down for any supplies we needed including towels, toilet paper and garbage can liners. The front desk said this was implemented due to covid but I've traveled to other cities and hotels and always had daily maid service. I made beds everyday, collected towels and changed out garbage cans (I don't like coming in from a long day to a messy room) but still paid the full price for the room. Not sure if I would stay here again if another hotel in the same area offered full service.

The best: LOCATION. For those who go to Disney for more than 1 day, walking is very convenient!

We stayed in a room type "suite", which are 2 combined rooms, but with only 1 bathroom serving.
In this type of room, it fits a family of 6 comfortably as it has 1 king bed, 2 queen beds and plus a double bed sofa.
All equipped with a fridge, microwave and coffee maker, as well as room for cooking (table with sofa).
Regarding the room, the only point that deserves any criticism is that the shower could have a little more pressure on the water. Anyway, great!

Could have a tbm water filter. There's just an ice machine and a beverage machine in the hallway.

There is no service qqr. Every day they just empty the garbage and change the towels. Complete cleaning only every 3 days (it is a practice of the region). But as we stayed little in the room, it didn't bother at all.

I recommend, and if you come back there, I will consider staying again!

I had this hotel booked for a family trip this coming summer, and we had reserved five rooms. One of them was for my parents who need a handicap accessible room. I called the hotel to ask some questions about the handicap room to make sure it would work for my mom, and the person at the front desk was extremely rude and short with me.

I had about three questions in total and could have been off the phone with him in two minutes total, but he kept putting me on hold after giving me two word responses. I thought we were done with the conversation but again he put me on hold so I thought he may actually be checking on some info for me finally. He came back on a few minutes later and asked if I needed help and I reminded him he put me on hold. He said, “Do you need anything else? I’m really busy.”

I’m not sure why he works in the hospitality industry if he can’t answer a few questions about an ADA room. It’s not like this info is trivial. Our hotel rooms total over $9000, and I’m definitely not going to spend that at a place who doesn’t care about their guests. I emailed them to let them know about the interaction but never received a response. I guess they don’t care.

This is our second time at the Camelot, and it was just as great this time (8 yrs later). We booked the ADA Family Suite because we were traveling with my 79 year old mother. I also had my daughters, son-in-law and grandchildren. We booked with my husband's military discount but he had to back out of the trip. Michelle was great and was still able to get us a good rate.
The suite was great. It was clean and spacious with two handicap accessible bathrooms, one with a tub, the other with a shower. The staff was so friendly, although they didn't clean rooms daily because of Covid, they checked on us daily and made sure we were stocked up on everything. The beds were so comfortable, which is vitally important when you've been walking all day in the park!
One Stop Mobility (located on the bottom floor) was amazing and provided my mom with a nice scooter that made it possible for her to get to Disneyland easily. The laundry room (also on the bottom floor) was small (3 washers 3 dryers) but no one was there so it wasn't a problem. The pool was saltwater and not very warm but not freezing either, There is a hot tub also.
I love the proximity of the hotel to Disneyland. It is very close which is so important when you have a bunch of tired kids who just want to get into a warm shower and sleep. There is also a 24 hr McDonalds right next door, and a Panera Bread right next to that for breakfast or late night snack.

Good question. We did not find it noisy. But because of the outside doors motel style it may be more noisy than some with quiet hallways. If you plan to sleep late it might not be the best place for you.
