Kings Inn Anaheim garners appreciation from guests for its cleanliness, with special mentions of the diligent daily housekeeping and the overall comfortable atmosphere that suits family vacations. The hotel's proximity to Disneyland is a highlight, offering guests easy access to the park and nearby dining options, which guests view as a good value for the price.
However, while the rooms are generally seen as clean and well-kept, some visitors have pointed out that there can be noise disturbances and basic amenities come with additional fees.

Detailed Reviews
I had read a bunch of mixed reviews and honestly aren't sure what people were expecting when they booked. We got a double queen room, which was larger than expected and very clean. The only issue is the bathroom is very small. The bathtub is actually quite deep and good shower pressure. The walls are very thin and you can hear everything but it's nothing turning on the tv or using ear plugs can't fix. There is a window above the door and it dows let a bit of light in, but it's frosted so it's not that bad. Beds are a bit hard, pillows make up for it. They offer a complimentary breakfast. Fresh fruits, coffee, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, pastries, waffles, toast as well as cereals and oatmeal. It saved us a ton of money on breakfast. Good idea to be in at 6am and it does get crowded, but not unmanageable. It wasn't an issue for me, but be prepared to have them hold a $100 deposit on your card for 3-5 days after checkout (depending on what days you stayed and what bank you have). I saw many complaints about this and it's standard practice at most hotels I have stayed at. My recommendation is to make sure you have enough money to cover this as well as your expenses your trip.
Our family enjoyed our stay and we definately recommend to anyone who wants to visit Disneyland and not break the bank!

We stayed here from the 24th Dec to 27th December 2019 and we couldn’t be more happier!
Location: This hotel is in an excellent t location. It is 10 mins walk away from the main entrance of Disneyland. You can also get Uber/Lyft and it is literally 2 mins drive away, depending on traffic..It is next door to Anaheim Gardenwalk where you can get something to eat from a variety of chains; Cheesecake Factory, Bubba Gump, PF Chang and many more. I-Hop is also across the road, CVS and Walgreens.
Room: The rooms were huge and I think it has been recently renovated. Lots of space to put all the suitcases and shopping. They do provide a coffee maker in the room.
We are a family of 4, and our room had two double beds, closet and drawers. We all fitted in with enough space for everyone!! It was amazing! Our rooms were cleaned every day.
Staff: So friendly and so helpful! The breakfast team were also amazing especially with the kids.
Hotel: It is more a motel but it really didn’t feel like it. They kept it really clean. There is a swimming pool but too cold to swim when we visited. Parking is free, you just need to display a ticket. Breakfast is also good, only continental, but it was good enough; cereal, juices, eggs, coffee and freshly made waffles. The breakfast room is small but we got in early every day so didn’t bother us.
We’d definitely come back and stay here. Definitely recommend it

Positives: very very clean hotel, not a single hair or bit of fluff anywhere in the room! The pool area was also immaculate and a lovely heated pool/hot tub. We got up too late for breakfast but nice that it is included. The reception staff were friendly and efficient. It was only a 15 minute walk to Disney - not the closest but we've walked that far for a DL parking lot before. We got a terrific deal on the price which is always a plus. Final pro was that the parking was plentiful and they let us stay till midnight on the day of checkout so that we could spend more time in Disneyland.
Negatives: our room smelled when we checked in, honestly couldn't distinguish if it was smoke or cleaning products but it was very pungent and my son mentioned it. The walls were pretty thin and we could hear the conversations of those in the next room. The window above the door let all the light from the hallway into the room. I ended up covering my eyes with a hand towel. If we stayed again, I'd bring an eye mask!

The room looked exactly like pictured, no surprises. While the hotel is a bit older, the rooms are renovated and very clean. The bed was on wheels, so it was a bit squeaky, but generally comfortable. The room needed more towel racks, as the ones available hung directly over paper products (toilet paper or tissue dispenser). The lamps had outlets and USB plugs, which was convenient. There is no real lobby or gathering place, but it looked like they're in the process of adding a little market/convenience store near the lobby. We didn't use the pool, as it was closed briefly for cleaning, but it looked nice. It was close enough to Disney that we could walk, and we felt comfortable coming back late at night. The hotel was not crowded, so there wasn't really any noise. It was a good option for a budget motel, but as it's in Anaheim, it is priced on the higher end for budget motels. If I needed a low(ish) cost option near Disneyland in the future, I'd be glad to pick this hotel again.

We booked this room due to the location and past reviews. Upon arrival we were instructed we had to pay a resort fee (which was not listed on the website of $7.50) - Disappointing.
At 8am on our check out today, the cleaner walked straight into our room (we had the do not disturb sign up). This woke both myself and my wife u, which was annoying as we had a late flight out and required the sleep.
I mentioned this to the front counter, who advised me they would talk to the manager about this and they would get back to me and also refund my resort fee.
I messaged them a number of days later about this, and they basically said tough luck and we cannot waive this resort fee (even though then gentlemen on the counter said this was possible).
The room was nothing special, and the floors were sticky and the air conditioning was loud.
It’s a shame, as we have stayed here before two years ago without any problem.
Things have changed here.

We came in August to celebrate my mother's birthday and we never been here at the Kings Hotel before, this was the fastest unstressed check-in ever took no longer than 10 minutes, Sacramento California visiting Anaheim we were flown in and were allowed to check in to the room that I was allowed to actually pick when I made the reservation. They are very great about trying to for fill your needs and any questions I had. I needed to call the hotel I didn't wait on hold for very long everyone was quick to respond to any questions. As for the hotel room itself the room was clean well equipped or stocked with towels the convenient giant mirror and counter with the sink right there instead of in the bathroom actually was very convenient especially traveling with nothing but girls we all had enough room to do things at the same time and get things done faster to be out on the road and of course the pool I believe it was saltwater which was amazing on our hair and our skin definitely didn't smell like we are walking around in chlorine was fantastic. The jacuzzi fantastic is such a lifesaver because after so many thousands of steps a day to have the jacuzzi to unwind you was wonderful that a thing I wish is that maybe they could take off the time limit because when we get out of the park having that Jacuzzi available would be miraculous then again I didn't ask maybe they would have made the exception they are amazing staff and very well trained professionals the ladies that clean the hotels as well very nice very polite. We're on our way back this month September hopefully everything stays the same and they were already giving me a heads up again after you make your reservation let us know what hotel room you want give us a call back so nice I can't say I get that very often I'll be honest with you.

We came in late at night because we were driving through. When we got there we noticed a guy who was sort of stumbling around the property, I thought it was some random drunk guy walking around. Once checked in I went in the room to use the bathroom I left the curtains open and turned on the lights and then went to the bathroom. My husband was unloading the car and when he turned around he noticed the guy standing outside our room looking inside our room. When he saw my husband looking at him he walked the opposite direction. My husband went and told the girl working at the counter and she said he was staying there but she would go talk to him (she never did). The guy stayed in his truck all night which was right in front of our room which totally creeped me out so I couldn’t sleep. The next morning I was packing our stuff to go so I opened the curtains for some light and there was a guy dressed the same way sweeping outside. He swept by our room passed our room looked up saw our curtains open so he came back and started looking in our room. My husband was standing in the window so once he saw him he smiled and walked off. I went to complain to the manager because I now realized wow this creep works here!! The manager said these were 2 different guys who are also doubling as security so he didn’t think they did it with bad intentions. I asked the manager if security is trained to look inside rooms? He said no I said then don’t tell me they didn’t have bad intentions because people use that excuse when they do a lot of bad things. The manager just made excuses the entire time and I was thoroughly disgusted.

We stayed here for just under a week - the price we got was amazing. It’s basic yes but the rooms are clean and comfy and have everything you need. There’s no breakfast or housekeeping at the moment but that didn’t phase us at all. We just went to the front desk and asked for anything we needed for the room and there’s loads of places within walking distance to eat.
The walk to Disneyland is super easy and quick and the front desk team were always friendly and helpful even when I was in Disneyland and panicked I’d left my straighteners on in our room - they asked housekeeping to check to put my mind at rest!
When we return will be staying here again for sure - couldn’t fault it

My friends and I stayed here for about 4 nights and overall our stay was very nice. Front desk staff was very courteous and friendly, our room was spacious and very clean, and shower temp/pressure was good. For the price we payed, we were content. The location is surrounded by lots of different food options - so if you're interested in eating outside the park this location was very convenient. Some cons we experienced during our stay (that we were able to overlook) included: our sink faucet would shut water off on occasion, many of the outlets in our room (specifically on the sides of our dresser) did not work resulting in us having to have our things away from our bedsides, our ac unit was very loud, and the ventilation in our room was poor resulting in our room being humid. We also had noisy neighbors, but that obviously wasn't the hotel's fault. Some additional things to note: the gift shop (while open until 2am with self-checkout) was overpriced - it is definitely worth walking 5 additional minutes to Walgreens to get snacks. The hotel is quite far from Disney's main entrance so be mindful of the walk you'll have when your day is up. As stated before for a group trip for college students at a very low rate, this room did not disappoint us. Definitely a better option than cheaper hotels in the area.
