Read many reviews before hand, and honestly can't find much wrong with this place. A few minor irritations, but nothing that would make me say never again! All staff that we met, from bell hop, check in, to cleaning staff and maintenance, were all very friendly and eager to

Everything was in the right place, and service was great. We got a free upgrade on check-in, and it made our experience there even better. The made everyone feel special and helped us have a great time. Not only in Disneyland but at the hotel as well. We only spent 1 night

I cannot say we had a bad stay at the Paradise Pier Hotel, but I have stayed at better hotels. The whole place seemed a bit run down, particularly the common areas and the restaurant (the restaurant in particular looked like a copy of a 60s motel). The room we got was of a

Although the location is great, it is not as close to the park entrances as you would think. We stayed at a property off site, and it was closer!! We were greatly disappointed by the "Magic Morning" advantage that you get by staying at a Disney property. California Adventure has

We stayed last summer and they told us you cannot cut through going INTO the park anymore, but coming back FROM parks you can.

We just took a cab from the airport. Seemed the simplest to get out of the airport. Going back to the airport at the end we did an Uber from our hotel.

It is all very walkable from the hotel. You exit the back side of the hotel towards the parking garage and turn right. Follow the path to Downtown Disney and the security bag check will be just as you get to Downtown Disney.

We enjoyed having the club level room at Paradise Pier. We had a fantastic view of California Adventure. And the snacks and drinks at the club were a very nice touch. I have heard good things about Disneyland Hotel, so I think you can't go wrong either way. I feel having club level at PPH would be a better bang for your buck vs standard room at DLH.
