This is the WORST hotel experience I have ever had at any hotel chain. The hotel is nasty- (dirty vents in the bathroom and the bedroom, trash and food in the parking area by check-in area, terrible view from the window of air conditioning units in room 353, standing water on the patio, leak from the room above running onto the patio, and repairs needed in the bathroom, including a leak that had been patched above the bathtub and then not painted. ) Awful!! Please save your dollars/points and stay any where else.

Recently just stayed here for 1 night on Thursday August 18, 2022. I’m not sure why people been rating this hotel as 1 star but honestly I really enjoyed the hotel. Especially the 7 foot pool (usually hard to find nowadays). I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a clean & Quite Area…

Nicely stocked club lounge, enjoyed the hot item in the evening. Appreciated being offered the breakfast buffet since the club lounge isn’t open for bkft. Service was fast & every server was helpful & pleasant. Glad to see a new desk chair in the room. Please also add in some of the missing patio furniture in the rooms.

I recently booked and stayed at the Sheraton Agoura Hills as I was flying in for a wedding at a nearby venue. Check in is listed at 4 and the shuttle for the wedding was leaving promptly at 4:45pm. I had called around 1:30pm asking if it was possible to check in early, as we'd flown in and I'm 7 months pregnant, and was told that because the hotel was full the night before they couldn't guarantee anything as rooms needed to be turned over. I completely understood and they said to call back a little later. I headed to the hotel early anyway, assuming that they'd either have a room or at least I could sit around the lobby/pool and not have to find something to do in the area to kill time instead. It was roughly 2:50 pm. My friend and I arrived at the front desk at the exact same time and I was told there wasn't a room available yet which I was fine with as we were early. They took my phone number and gave me a key to the pool so I could sit outside (as I prefer that since not many people had masks on and being pregnant I was trying my best to avoid the current spike) but was surprised my friend had been given a room and decided to just go up with her. At about 3:30 pm I called down to the front desk suddenly worried that perhaps my international phone number would be an issue (and also wanting to check in again) and they said nothing was available yet. I told them they could just ring this room and thanked them again. At 3:55 pm my husband and I decided just to go downstairs and check in normally, since it was time and perhaps they had forgotten to call. We were SHOCKED when we got down to the lobby to see about 7 of our friends standing around also waiting for rooms. It was now past check in time and everyone was carrying or holding their wedding attire starting to get concerned. Two guys actually went to a nearby bathroom to get dressed fearing time would be an issue. I told my husband at 4:15 pm to ask if they had another room available (we were waiting for a King but maybe there was a 2 queen option available or something we could get into?!) and he came back with a room key. He said he didn't mention a downgrade or anything, just said he was checking in and a room was suddenly available. When we hustled up to it, housekeeping was inside and we apologized, asking if she needed more time and she assured us she was just about finished. We stood in the hall for another minute or so and then entered, took 10 minutes to get ready, and ran down to the shuttle. Apparently, there were 3 weddings going on in the area, so some of our friends got the calls for rooms past 9 pm and others just checked in upon arrival after the night was over. There was little to no apology and no compensation of any kind. For how expensive the hotel was, I was a little surprised at how no one seemed stressed about the chaos or thought to plan ahead since so many people would obviously be arriving in the same timeframe. The next morning, we realized we didn't have any soap, shampoo, conditioner, etc., and realized we might have been given the room before it was actually finished. I called down to the front desk and asked if there were hairdryers since our room seemed to be missing one as well, and was told someone would deliver one but over an hour and 30 minutes later, it was time to check out and no one had ever arrived or called back. I stopped by the front desk to check out and mention the room was still missing one, and to make sure I wouldn't be charged for it's absence, and got a simple "Oh, sorry about that." This is a lovely hotel from the exterior but I don't understand how it's run so poorly from a scheduling point of view. The bar wasn't even open on Saturday when we all were arriving and standing around waiting on rooms. Besides stressing people out, they could've made some money off of us! If you know you're booked and expecting an influx of people, why not bring in a few extra housekeeping hands to facilitate the turnover?! I will not be staying at this property ever again and will most likely side eye any Sheraton properties going forward. Not worth the money.

The front desk gave my key to somebody else, room 130. Very embarrassing event happened when they checked into my room at 1:30am. I was on the bed in my underwear. I’ll never stay at another Sheraton again. Sheratons are just aging hotels with bad service. I am so upset.

The check-in went smoothly and the room was clean and everything worked. The breakfast buffet was okay but pedestrian and lacking energy (as also noted by the early closure of the bar). Actually the place seemed "dead" over the weekend (our Friday and Saturday night stay), and this extended to the closure of the hot tub and the empty swimming pool. A fine place to stay but lacked vibrancy.

Check-in was easy enough, even though our keys weren't ready. The staff were all very friendly. The room was a decent size and seemingly clean. The large bed was comfortable and had non-feather pillow options (great for allergy sufferers!). There was a power hub on each nightstand (perfect for charging phones & devices at bedside!). The room had a mini-fridge, coffeemaker, iron, and ironing board. The heating/air conditioning fan was noisy and would not turn off; even turning off the system and setting the fan to low the unit blasted air all night long. The bathroom had a shower/tub combo with a little mold in the tile grout--housekeeping needs to give it a good scrubbing. The shower water pressure was abysmal, but the hot water stayed hot. There were ample towels, a hairdryer, and a wall-mounted magnifying glass, which is always a nice touch. The free WiFi was not password protected (not good!) but was relatively fast. Parking was free in their open-air lot. I might give the hotel another go there next time I'm in the area.

My friend and I stayed here for a weekend wedding, checking in late friday night. Upon entering "our" room for the first time, to our surprise (and his) we encountered a man in his boxer briefs. We quickly realized the hotel staff had double booked the room. It was a very unfortunate mistake. To add insult to injury, we waited for assistance in the hallway with all of our luggage for 30 min, having to call back to remind them of the issue. The manager Gilbert was incredibly nonchalant and dismissive of the experience. This is not a convenience issue, this is a safety issue. I blockaded my door for the weekend in case a stranger was mistakenly given my room key. I am upset this mistake was made, but am even more in disbelief at the way the staff handled the situation. Will not be staying here again.
