...if you are visiting the Grand Canyon, everything else in the region is way more expensive. Fine for one night, rooms are clean, beds a bit tired. Take a room on the first floor if you can. No breakfast or ice available, just a vending machine for drinks. The usual motel amenities in the room.

It is very cheap, quite ok maintained for that money and close to Grand Canyon and Road 66. However our room did not have changed linen which is a must regardless the price. I complained and get promptly new one even with some arguments that it is impossible and linen was changed etc.. New linen was very very worn-out but... More

I remember you. I went to the room with you and it was me that told you that the sheets had been changed cos i'm the one that striped the beds. You were aggressive with me and I didn't appreciate your arrogant attitude towards me and the motel. Your attitude towards me, birthed my attitude towards you. Just because you... More

This is a nice little place, right on old Route 66. Ash Fork is no longer much of a town, but it has this Inn and a very good restaurant in Lulu Belle's (just off the eastern entrance into town.) The price was $36 for two, which is a terrific bargain when one considers a Motel 6 is often $70... More

I don't expect much when paying $36 per night, but know the room had bugs all over in it and I wish we had just put up the tent on BLM land (except I didn't want to sleep in 20 degree weather again that night.) The owner is sweet, though the whole office reeks of smoke. Our room smelled like... More

We advertise that wi fi is only available in the office and puplic areas. If the room was as you say, which I know it was not, you should have told the front desk, taken them to the room, to legitimize your claim, got a refund and left. Having done none of this and soldiered on, It is imposible for... More

I am a road warrior and have and do stay at hotels and motels all over the US and beyond. LOVE this place, not fancy but what counts is 5 star! Sincerely helpful and sweet staff from the front desk, to maids to the owner. The sheets and towels smell like laundry detergent and bleach, the WI-FI, TV, A/C, Frig./Freezer... More

I'd been 2 nights in this lodge for my Grand Canyon trip. It takes 70-80 min to arrive to Grand Canyon National Park (South). The lodges around Grand Canyon is very high priced and occasionally full. That's why i think it's one of the best option for staying if you wanna visit the Grand Canyon. The lodge is high completely... More

Odd characters hanging out staring at me. someone came in late at night and parked their huge vehicle 6 inches from my vehicle. Had to crawl thru passenger side to get to drivers side. Was up early... More

The room is older and needs a little cosmetic work. But considering the price for a night was only $30 I was more then pleased. We had hot water, clean sheets and towels, the room had no odor, and the lady at the front desk was a lot of fun to chat with. I saw no bugs or any noticeable... More

I've stayed at the Ash Fork Inn numerous times. It's a motel with the basics at a low price, tub, shower, TV, fridge and microwave. I think its a great deal for the price, and its just off I-40. I've read the negative reviews and don't agree. Never have I had any trouble with staff or cleanliness. I would recommend... More

Inexpensive place to stay on the way to Grand Canyon. Certainly get what you pay for. Looked to be somewhat clean and freshly repainted, but the rug was just laying on the floor and was very stained and had cigarette burns etc., old furnishings, TV, bed, etc. Had a mini fridge, no coffee pot or microwave. The bathroom door had... More
