Crenshaw Guest House: In its element on a beautiful historic street, the locale is ideal for walking to downtown Auburn and/or AU campus. Steve & Sarah artfully address the balance of preservation (in a Victorian home), while maintaining a relaxed, hospitable atmosphere. The grounds were inviting. When asked, the hosts were generous to share history and/or give recommendations. We appreciate... More

This was the second time we have stayed at the Crenshaw House. We will stay there again in February. In fact, if possible, we will stay there every time we go to Auburn. We love this place. The food is fabulous, the rooms are fabulous and Sarah is the best hostess you will ever find. Thank you Sarah for everything.

We recently spent two nights, and enjoyed Sarah's hospitality and the comfortable accommodations. The breakfast/living area has been brightened and modernized with a large flat-screen TV, and a coffee/snacks bar. The uncluttered, clean appearance is a nice change from the "frou-frou" look found in many B&B's. Our room on the ground floor was large with a comfortable queen bed, a... More

The best place to stay in Auburn besides my sister's house! Warm, welcoming hosts, serene, pristine, well-appointed lodging, fabulous breakfasts. Free (and fast) WiFi. Flat screen TVs, DVD players in gathering room and each guest room. Hair dryers, toiletries, irons & ironing boards. Walk everywhere in the village on flat terrain. 24-hour coffee and snacks. Simply the best!

Love the warm welcome of the Crenshaw House. The door is always open and refreshment and home made sweet treats in the dining room. Great place to meet and greet people you do not know. Awesome made from scratch free breakfast.

We will be back! We have never felt so at ease and "at home" being at Steve and Sarah's Crenshaw Bed and Breakfast House! We had a wonderful big suite so my adult daughter could have her own room and my husband and I have ours. My other adult kids stayed in one of the cottages. The breakfast (enough for... More

A great place to stay. We were visiting my granddaughter at Tuskegee University and stayed at the Crenshaw House because it was only about 15 minutes from the school. The choice to stay there verses a hotel was a wise choice for us because we needed some quiet time. Sarah & Steve are very open and warm. We will be... More

This is the 2nd time I've stayed at the Crenshaw House. It is a warm, inviting, comfortable place to stay when in Auburn. Sarah & Steve are gifted at making your stay enjoyable. Both times, I've stayed in the main building. This time it was the Hare room. The bedroom and bathroom are spacious. There is a desk in the... More

We loved this B&B. The inn is beautiful and Stephen & Sara were great hosts. The location is perfect as we were able to walk two blocks to the main strip in Auburn. The beds and sheets were extremely comfortable. Great breakfast and simply the best place to stay in Auburn.

We stayed at the Crenshaw House when passing through Auburn on Oct. 29th based on the wonderful feedback found on TripAdvisor. We were not disappointed. The home is stately and wonderfully appointed. The accommodations are beautiful. We stayed in the Hare Room. It is large and very comfortable. The shower arrangement on the claw footed tub is a bit confining,... More

Thank you so much for your kind words! We loved having the opportunity to serve you. I agree with your observation about the quieter rooms. The Hare is right off of the front porch so you will get some street noise. The cottages can be quieter during the busier times. Sincerely, Sarah More
