I was sleeping about 1 am in my room when the door that joins rooms busted open and somebody was trying to get thru, the table and chairs were in front of it and my dog was trying to protect me and I screamed for help and they took off I called police and manager yet nothing was done. Manager said I could just f**"***g leave if I felt unsafe and defended the person next to me that obviously was going to attack me I believe they are in cohuts with manager to attack females there and God knows what else but if not for my dog I would have been hurt. No refund no apologies nothing but anger bc I called police. I'm 5 ft 100 pounds and the doors in rooms are old and broken locks easy to gain access on someone asleep or anything. FEMALES THIS IS NOT A SAFE PLACE TO BE ALONE. VERY DANGEROUS. U WILL BE ATTACKED IN YOUR ROOM AND NOTHING DONE. PLZ DO NOT TRUST THIS PLACE. IM FILING CRIMINAL CHARGES ASAP.

Any good review on this place was a paid review by TripAdvisor. This place is known to be a bed bug ghetto getaway. I stay there and room 42 and the walls were splattered with blood lamps were covered in dust I could have made a pillow out of it. The lady at the front desk put a sign up be back in 10 minutes so I understand people forget to take the sign down so I went ahead and ring the buzzer she came to the front got me checked in. As I was unpacking my car I realize I locked my key in the room so I went to town and did a bunch of other things and gave her an hour because she said she was coming in the shower and that's why she put the sign up. So I came back an hour later to get a new key to get my room it took about 20 minutes to get her attention and that 10 minutes I will still up. Room 42 was the only room available she said so that night I had to stay there. When I woke up the next morning I was covered in bed bug by I called a friend as she told me the manager would have to come look so that pissed me off because either way I wasn't going to stay in that room so she told me the manager has decided to give me another room and she told me as soon as I got all of my stuff out of room 42 I can move to another room I told her no I'm not leaving all of my stuff sitting outside to walk up to the office and leave my stuff unattended. She then told me I can put my stuff in my car then come get a key. I told her no I was not doing that either so finally we come to an agreement that she could come to the new room and open it for me so I could carry my belongings down to it. So I've been realized the new room door handle is broken and you have to Jimmy Akshay get rad lip push it in and out to even get out of the place definitely a safety fire hazard at least it smells better than the last room. This whole time during all this Bonanza about the bed bugs the lady at the front is just hustling me about the pet fee for the new night that I'm staying there. Mind you I'm staying in a motel to isolate myself because I have flu type beat and I told them I was sick that's why I was there so she's having me move my stuff all around getting a live by bed bugs while I'm sick with the flu. I am so disgusted by this place I written reviews everywhere I can to warn people about this place be aware stay away please

We stayed one night there to attend a family event. Check in was easy and staff was friendly and accomadating. The room was clean and the king bed was probably the most comfortable bed I've ever experienced at a hotel. Thanks for making our stay very pleasant.

Hubby and I went to Lake Guntersville and stayed here. Check in was easy and pool was nice. Room was run down and smelled musty. The area is not so bad but they put us right next to a block of rooms that people appeared to be living long term. Not construction workers or railroaders, young transient people. They didn’t appear to always be up to good. Doors slammed all night and they had company back and forth at one time there were over 25 people in one room. Hotel and rooms need work and if you feel need to do extended stay, keep your short term stays in another area.
