Paid $279/night for the smallest, outdated room I have stayed in all year. Thin walls--can hear my neighbors. Lastly, after paying a lot of money, I checked my bags and had to pay $1.00 for storing bags. Low-class, nickel & dime attitude.

Loads of other options in this city. So I recommend picking something else Unfortunately this was just an all around bad stay. Old and outdated. Nothing special about this place. And very slow wifi. And really bad service at the customer counters. Not worth the trouble

This hotel is centrally located for anyone visiting DC. It is not very close to a metro station, but not impossibly far away from Dupont Circle--about a 10-min. walk. Walking distance to Adams Morgan/U Street; a 5-min. car ride to Columbia Heights or Foggy Bottom; 10 min. ride to Georgetown/Downtown. The hotel itself shows its age, despite some apparent efforts... All amenities for Honors members here come with a price: lounge, breakfast etc not included. Rooms are old and bathrooms are small. Gym is ok but nothing special. Not much in immediate vicinity of hotel. Go elsewhere.

I stayed for one night in late November to attend a recruiting event. Upon arrival, the front desk staff, Alexis, was super friendly, helpful, and quick. She ensured I was taken care of. The room I was given was fantastic, just wish it had a small refrigerator. I had a high floor, corner room with a great view of the... More

I rented two rooms for two nights so that my daughter and her husband could join us for Thanksgiving. The Washington Hilton is an older hotel and by all appearances it's designed for a convention crowd (lots of meeting rooms and an over abundance of rooms set up for convention goers. Nothing wrog with that; I've attended several conventions at... More

If you could manifest a has-been politician into a hotel, you would get the Washington Hilton. The hotel relies on the fact that it can accommodate large groups for conferences, and consequently doesn't try too hard on the amenities that business travelers rely on to do work. While you're here for a conference, you'll note two things: a really sad... More

It was my first stay in DC and the hotel was a perfect starting point for most of my trips in the city. The room was ok, the real thing that made it more than average was the very friendly personnel in the hotel.

We stayed for 1 night, for a quick tour of Washington, D.C., when our friends were visiting from out of state. The hotel is conveniently located (not too far, but not right in the middle of everything either). We ate once from the restaurant in the lobby, and the food was pretty decent. We also had access to the lounge,... More

The breakfast was good and nice selection but very costly. I had a leak in my room from a flood upstairs and they didn't handle it well.
